Rome settled a new city.
We'll settle our new city next turn in the south, so ideally we'd like to get peace this turn. It's also possible Krill will scout with his WC before signing peace and spot the settler this turn 
Also, Ottomans sent me an email about another attack on PAT. Did they send the same thing to you guys?
And, alert, Ottomans' newest city is going to get 1-moved. Can someone email them and warn them, if there is even anything they can do about it

We caught a break and Athlete burned a pause. We should use the time to request gold from anyone who has it - I didn't have time to do so while I was logged in, and didn't think there was a point if the turn was about to roll.

OK, gave them gunpowder. We got PP. No gold yet though. I cancelled our settler at mechanical bull because I'm not sure where to send him now our prime city sites have been taken. Any suggestions?
Set 3 cities on research that sunrise can change to miliitary and there's a third worker in the deep south unmoved too.

Not only do we have no gold, both our potential funders (Aztec and Byzantium) only have about 70 total available this turn 
HRE (our allies) popped a GScientist and burned it on a Golden Age
And, as soooo reported we have Printing Press.
PAT got Gunpowder (though it's only partially traded around), so Cuirassiers may be on the horizon.

In the cities sooooo left without military builds I selected a cat and two pikes. I don't LIKE building pikes at this stage, but I don't like building knights, maces, or muskets either, and having a few pikes on hand isn't terrible.
Carthage did not hit the new Ottoman city, and the English mounted units are unmoved. Carthage's mounted stack however is missing. If I don't spot it over the next turn or two we'll need to be concerned.

Portugal (DOW'd on but in what I think is a phony war) asks for Gunpowder and I accept.
Mali (2nd score) adopts Nationhood and Free Religion. The religious civic doesn't scream military but the legal one sure does...so lets try to watch their power. I doubt a 5-team PAT wants to get in a drafting race with us, but who knows...
England's mounted stack remains in place, and Carthage's is still missing. If we don't see it next turn it's time to worry.

Athelete got a GS as well and asked what to do with it.
A golden age? Seriously? We could have doubled bulbed SM .
