Is anyone going to play the turn? I cannot until much later on today and I'm pants at it...

Turn 10

These screens are from after ending turn, don't worry I worked the deer tile and put the research into AH. Should be 5 turns to go on AH next turn.

Our scout moved SW, spotted Pirates' borders, then went W to take a closer look. I'm hoping we can get a peek at the city tile for C&D use.

Warrior moved onto the wheat and got a good look around because of the lake tile.

Worked the deer, swapped tiles back after ending turn and then took the screen shot.

Demos after ending turn and swapping tiles back.

Why did you move the warrior onto the wheat and not the hill?

chat while playing the turn Wrote:me: warrior now. NW onto hill? won't see much because it's surrounded by forests

Squareleg: hmm - the only risk is if there is another teams warrior nearby - but I don't think they could be that close yet. perhaps to the wheat? no barbs to worry about

me: their cap is 16 tiles away from our borders. so too early to get a warrior here yet

Squareleg: should be safe then

me: wheat is reasonable too

Squareleg: no one has built a warrior 1st

it is next to a lake tile. so good visibility.

I thought I'd reveal more new tiles this turn by landing on the wheat tile rather than the hill. The hill looks like it's surrounded by forests in the direction we're exploring so we'd only get one layer of fog peeled back. I think for next turn if the warrior goes NE onto the hill it will see everything in that area along the coast. On the other hand, that's getting a bit far from home so maybe we should start the arc S from his current position and wheel clock-wise around the capital.

Yeah - I had a chat with Lewwyn earlier and he talked about investigating the river to the north. OUr thinking at the time was to use the lake for visibility.

I would have gone E rather than SE, giving us lake visibility and letting us advance north 1t faster. I suggest moving NE next turn, lot of useful info to be gained. Then possibly SE next turn and return home along that southern coast we glimpse.

In hindsight people should post here in plenty of time with suggested moves so we get this right. It's no biggie at this stage but good habits like spamming this thread will pay off.

Next turn how about 1NE for the warrior and SW-W for the scout?

Agree with both moves.
