Not totally set in stone, but 2E from gold has seem to best spot. In general I would urge for caution in chats. Now they know where we're planning to settle, but we've no idea where they intend to settle. We've given way more info out than received. In exchange of giving the exact spot they should be giving roughly their 1st settling spot.

Well, reading between the lines they've already picked out a spot in the other direction anyway.

Which is somewhat misleading as we know there's copper in that area now (in the same column as the gold), and we know there's ivory & stone to the south too.

We're not in a hurry to agree on borders with Gillette, they're settling away from us. And I wouldn't share maps of our BFC, so I'd at the very least crop the last screenshot even more.

I'd thought it might be a good idea to not look like we're dodging the question though? Keep them talking to us rather than giving up on us and buddying up with Menagerie instead.

Just a quick note, depending on the shape of the land, that line is not necessarily the correct midline.
