Right, a few little updates.
I have traded Monotheism to 2metraninja for Monarchy (I know we don't really need it but I wanted to be able to get Feudalism as Jowy is going to pick on someone and I don't want it to be us.
Also just traded Polytheism (plus 29g) to Cornflakes for Code of Laws. Getting some courthouses would help us with our expenses when I can fit them in
Aesthetics is researched next turn and unless Commodore picked it up this turn, noone has it and we can get some good trade bait hopefully. Looking for at least Currency and Construction. This could get us back in the mix - already getting settlers back in the queue to get catching up on the expansion.
We will have a Great Person out of Success Kid in 2 turns time. I reckon it will be about a 50-50 shot at getting a Scientist or an Engineer. What do you think we should do with either of them?
We could keep the scientists going after that in the capital and we would get a Great Scientist not long after as it is one turn behind atm.
MoM still hasn't gone but we still need to secure Calendar. If not, we could look at the Parthenon to help our specialists or Statue of Zeus to scare people off attacking us, bulb something (though would prob be Metal Casting which isn't great with the Colossus already gone). Or we keep it back and hope for GLib.
If its a scientist, I'm not sure what they would bulb. I think compass or maybe Philosophy. Philo could be a useful bulb for trade bait as well as for Pacifism. Then we could consider a spell in Caste & Pacifism at some point later for some fast GP.
