I logged in and acquainted myself a bit. I gave Delhi a name before it's razed: Bull Shot. I also reconnected our gold, so we can see what our happiness situation is really like. I didn't move any military units.
We've got a great general; is it worthwhile to attach him to a spear this turn (there is one in BM), and upgrade him to a super-pike to help take out the knights? I guess not really, since we have plenty of troops to take that out, once we get our catapults into position. We have a lot of military.
Those berserkers were deliberately placed as far away from our roads as possible:
Tempting to road over to them just to spite Gillette, but we needed the worker turns to connect the gold.
We should have finished Drama last turn if we could afford it, but representation still looks feasible.
If you know what I mean.

It may be late tonight before I can actually play the turn, so feel free to grab it and play, Plako.

Ok. I'll probably also wait for the evening I'd like to run couple of sims to see what are minimum amount of defenders we can do with 60% and 125% defense values against 19 Knights. We want to position most of our troops so that they're in position to hit that stack either next turn or turn after that.

Managed to run some tests. 125% needs ~8 real defeders to be mostly victorious and 9 is very good idea (loses significant amount of times with 8. Probably ~20%). 60% needs 12 (wins most), but to be safe 13 is better. Not sure if we can manage this numbers. WE probably should Draft all our border cities to get max amount of defenders.
If we had to lose a big city Bitter is better, because Knights will then travel towards bulk of our forces. Also they'll had to use 1 Knight to raze Delphi that improves our chances. 8 and 12 are probably enough.

That silver will be a nice prize indeed. On a related note, I guess Tasunke will pillage our spices with that knight.
Let's hope Bitter holds, if he goes for it.

Tasunke made our job pretty easy this turn. Losing 14 Knights and his forces are now split here and there. There are couple of places where we need to still be careful and possibly whip pikes and not attack out, but overall badly played turn from Tasunke.
We should spare our catapults and possibly Pikes i.e. only stacks with 4-5 units or more should get couple of rounds of collateral (there probably isn't any at the moment).
As it seems we can go for offensive pretty soon I suggest to promote one of our Chariots in Bitter to super healer. That will be useful minimizing the time we need to use for healing up and immediately useful in Ramune.
As it now seems he has sent every Knight he has on our lands we should probably be more ambitious and attack straight towards capital.

Why is the capital such a high-priority target?
There is a minor chance he can raze Elephant Beer, as it's surrounded by four knights. We should make sure to kill one or maybe both knights on that highlighted square. We have a pike, mace, axe, and horse archer that can reach the tile.
He didn't pillage the spices, but maybe he'll pillage the ivory next turn, so let's try to have some workers in range to reconnect it.
If you know what I mean.

Capital itself is just another city. However it is centraly located and culturally dominant. Assuming we can raze/capture it cities south from it will be much more feasible to keep.

How about moving in a stack on the hill S of Pidgeon Forge? Then we can raze that, letting our borders expand to that tile, and move directly along roads to the gold tile SW of Cry Me A River. Raze that one, too, and move on to Shaitaknoff. Capture that one, and the stone city, to establish our new front.
Edit: Cry Me A River is the confucian holy city. Has it got a shrine? If so, then maybe we should keep it.
If you know what I mean.

I did take a look at the situation and looks good. Made some micro changes here and there. Feel free to ignore them .
I agree moving towards Pidgeon Forge + Cry me a river. However we should try to keep them and head towards capital and raze it (unless it is evident that we could keep it too). This frees both cities from cultural pressure and possibly we can even go against Shaistakoff simultaneously.
