[SPOILERS] Cornflakes and Q Eat 'Em for Breakfast!

Yeah, my home internet has degraded from "acceptable" to "awful" in the last week cry and dropbox is having trouble uploading those 2. Odd though that the 1st loaded correctly.

The game lags horribly too when I'm logged in. Actions like unit movements and build queue changes take upwards of 4-seconds to execute at times ... but it's sporadic. I can go for 5 minutes with no performace issues and then 10 minutes with lagging and where webpages will half-load, then the internet cuts out. I refresh and it loads fine, but then I click a link and it's out. Hit back and click the link and it's working again rolleye

Anyway, I'm putting my computer into Standby for the night now so those images will probably be broken until they upload through the university connection tomorrow frown

They show fine for me (presuming you didn't change them).
What civics is Bigger in? Because he's at the stage where he might be cycling out of slavery into CS (or vice versa) instead of prepping for a big push - it doesn't really seem the right time to war when your at such a disadvantage tech-wise. He certainly doesn't seem to be pushing to make up for it now (yeah I know binary swapping).
Does that put the Krill war off?

Oh, right. I forget that he's SPI and can hop around through the civics as he pleases. I did notice in the log that he swapped 2 civics (Rep and something else that I can't remember, but might have been Caste).

Krill put 4 units inside NCIS a couple turns back so a boat attack is not possible frown We only needed a couple more hammers for the Galleon so I finished and loaded it anyway on the off chance that he moves something out. The first Infantry that I draft will be backlines on the Krill front, the 2nd will be front lines, and I may double draft the front lines immediately to finish off Krill They move slow, but he doesn't have any Cannon across the water at his capital so I can just march a force at it. If he ferries units across that'll be fewer units to defend on the north side.

Krill will basically be the training grounds where my Infantry gain their 2nd promo before heading off and conquering Commodore hammer

I'm going to build another Galleon or two and a pair of Ironclads. With Circumnav Ironclads have the extra movement so they're not totally useless. Are they restricted to coast? Or can they travel in Ocean too? I seem to remember that they have to stick to coast, but that may just be carried over from Civ 2/3. Ironclads are so slow and have such a short useful life that I generally don't build them.

Here are the armies of AT/Krill, Us, and Bigger (in that order, but also labeled on the screenshot):

We have vision on ALL of AT/Krill's military. You can see why invasion isn't practial ATM. He has more on defense than we can devote to Offense. He had most of this military sans the Rifles/ships when we invaded ... they were just out of position when I declared and then divided against Bigger too which left him vulnerable. If Bigger hadn't declared with his Musketeers I'm confident that AT would have recaptured MASH and swatted us back.

Here is our military. Grenadiers are all along the Krill front. Cannon are divided about equally between 2metra/Commodore, Bigger, and AT. Mounted are concentrated near Blimp in 1-turn range of Postos and Paradigm, 2 turns of Mars/Krill, 3 turns to Sheep. Muskets scattered around along the borders.

This is Bigger's visible army. I know that he has a dozen knights and 20 Musketeers along his Jowy front from a scouting Impi a few turns ago. 60 musketeers makes me a bit worried He could make a legitimate play against Blimp (our super-city) or Pork Chop (NE/draft camp) that would really hurt us. But I think that Mutually Assured Destruction will keep him out. He doesn't want to stir up an enemy who is 2 turns from Infantry without even Cavalry or Rifles at home (I hope).

I did a quick test, and 10 cavalry are enough to kill 20 Cavalry by Flank Attack. If Bigger advances on Krill when we invade and if I can catch his invading army in the open in Krill's land I would not even think twice about slamming my Cavalry into his stack. I get >90% odds on musketeers. Without Cannon he cannot effectively counter attack against Infantry covering my Cavalry stack

Ironclads cannot enter ocean outside of your territory.
How many turns are we walking on the coast? Or would it make sense to boat them across to the battleground?

NOTE: AT currently has 2 Ships of the Line (STR-8, +50% vs Frigate). A few Galleons would be nice to allow forking on the water. They'll need to have support from warships though. I'm building a Drydocks in Chip's Challenge which will provide 2-promo ships with Theocracy. I'll build the Galleons first after the Drydocks and then once Theocracy comes online I'll knock out a couple Ironclads. I could actually give 2-promo Ironclads Nav_1 for 4MP if I want. Ironclads are cheaper than Ships of the Line (100h vs 120h), and in that little bay there the restriction to Coast isn't a huge problem.

Bigger threat is not escalating. Assembly Line EOT, with Fascism likely squeaked out in more 2 turns. At that point I drop into Nationhood again and begin drafting. Hammers will go towards Factories ... which brings up the issue of Health. I'm already bumping the health cap in my larger cities even with Harbor + Grocer + all health resources on the map.

Westpoint completes EOT overflowing about 100 (modified) hammers into Pentagon. Blimp's modified production is 257hpt! Likely a 5-turn build even accounting for the GA end. Then I'll be 1-turning 3-promo Infantry out of this baby! Procupine will construct 1-turn ships for a naval invasion of Commodore. Krill war will take a dozen or two turns first which will give time to build up a sizable navy.

How fast do you think Bigger could win space?
Are the conquests going to pay back in time to have an effect on that (in troops/tech)?
