Merovech hasn't given many scum vibes, but not many villager vibes either. His voting record is abysmal, though.

My hesitancy about voting Catwalk has only been increased by the latest additions to his wagon.
And I still can't seem the parse the case on Rowain as anything other than "well, he's Rowain". Though that may be symptomatic of the fact I'm still operating due solely to excessive amounts of caffeine.

Novice: Yeah, thought that before. (Adds to case)
Meiz: *^^)&%& :D
Catwalk: 47 posts trying to decipher Meiz.
Novice: Quick Meiz translation.
Ichabod: Stuff about everyone.
Rowain: Screw you novice and Gaspar, I'll lol at you from lurker thread.
Novice: ...
Lewwyn: OMG CATWALK LOLZ.
Pindicator: Plus, he said "the village."
Everyone: Vote Catwalk.
Rowain: Novice and Gaspar are stupid. LOL.
Novice: So screw us and we're stupid? That's your defense?
Everyone: MOAR VOTES FOR CATWALK PLZ!

Yeah, I see this ending well.

novice Wrote:Well I'm not as comfortable with voting Rowain as I was earlier today, but I think he's a much better lynch than Catwalk. I guess a Catwalk lynch could be somewhat informative but I'm pretty sure he'll flip villager. I've never seen him play scum but let me put it this way: I could easily see Rowain playing the game he's played so far as scum, but if Catwalk is scum he's played better than I'd imagine.
I was thinking the same about the catwalk lynch, as far as not being as comfortable as I was last night. I'm still having a hard time finding a target I like more, though.
@gaspar: we have different scum reads then - mine are on other targets. Actually, they aren't on rowain either as of brick's last update
Also, i'm a little disappointed nobody called out my defense of rowain as the b.s. it is. Dunno what I was trying there -- thinking some overeager wolf would jump with it to either defend or attack and help me gauge a read? -- but saying he gets a village lean because he doesn't line up with my hypothetical wolf smear campaign on bigger is pretty damn flimsy and I expected someone to call me out on it.
My call on Rowain being less scummy is just gut feel. Catwalk seems off, and not in the normal catwalk-is-off kind of way. Twinkletoes made a good point about the contradiction between a confident, carefree tone and his stating that he has no good leads and will just follow people he trusts. Rowain... I just see a lot of the same noise he always generates when he is latched on to a target

Nice to see you're sticking to the paradigm. I'd definitely take the contribution Pepsi challenge against you.
Why don't you try scumhunting instead of temper tantruming if you're innocent?
@pindicator - I liked your posts at night but basically think everything you've done today is weak, both the catwalk wagon & Rowan defense. I'm reserving judgement until later, though.
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?

I can see why some people are nervous with the votes falling as they have on catwalk.
It does give me a little pause but I'm still convinced that its a shot worth taking. With me seemingly alone on novice suspicion, I'd gladly take catwalk as my second favourite.

I'm not really comfortable having semi-informed opinions affecting a possibly marginal vote. I find Catwalk most suspicious, but I'll leave the vote for it off.

The whole "for the village" thing was the wrong thing to lead with, but it was what grabbed my attention last night. I probably did more harm to my case than good by headlining with that; there are plenty of other scummy things Catwalk has done, and stated more eloquently by other people.

so this has nothing to do with the game but I was watching a murder mystery earlier this afternoon and throughout I was thinking stuff like
- A is acting way too scummy to actually be scum
- B is clearly lying but might be town anyway
- C is basically lurking and might be scum
- D arguing with E isn't helping the village
- hmm no one is confirmed innocent despite these claims...
