If you have a strong opinion for an EXP leader, I for one would be totally on board with that. I saw no one really campaigning for anything, just ideas being tossed around and just voted what seemed best with my limited knowledge.

Anyway, the EXP ship has sailed and the two largest candidates when the deadline hit were Darius and Mansa so we're doing a run-off. That's why there's no EXP leader in the voting list

Sorry Pindicator, I did not want to attack you. I understood the whole run-off vote thing. I was just surprised when you seemed rather disappointed that there is not much support for the EXP idea, when earlier you seemed rather indifferent. So I wanted to express that I am totally open to change my mind and others might feel similar. I was also confused about something else, but now we are decided so no need to go back an forth and sort out each others confusions.

I think we will do great with Mansa, time to decide what to do next and finally setup that sandbox.

With EXP FWs, they can get just about any early wonder they want. While the GLH won't be as powerful here as it was in PBEM17, the Pyramids will be more so. You throw up CRE libraries in all your cities and run Rep Scientists.

In short, the leaders of this team saw this combo work extremely well once, and I expect they'll run it again if they get the chance.
