Long time no update. I was out of town for the weekend again and just played my turns. So here's what's been happening. TBS eliminated the remainder of my army (expected), but each with a chariot attack, all on the same turn (not really expected). So he has at least 3 chariots at large.
Make that 2 chariots, given one lost a fight to my retreating ax over here:
I've been offering peace a lot in the last few turns. I don't think any knockout blow is possible in the next 10 turns, and honestly if this war continue its just going to drag on to my eventual victory but at the expense of competitiveness with the rest of the field.
So the current strategy is thus: Stave off TBS's army (currently composed of chariots and archers), with my more flexible and promoted forces. That plus defender advantage means I should be able to at worst hold this at a stalemate without having to dedicate too much of my civilization to military.
While that is going on, expand expand expand. I have a ton of backfilling to do given my very uni-direction aggressive settling, if I can keep the war in a tie for 20-40 turns or w/e I can snowball faster than TBS and kill him later (I don't think peaceful coexistance in really in the cards in the long run given I've razed 2 of his cities).
See: All the settlers and workers -
(There's a settler under that worker)
Not all of these are being built straight, some are just taking in chops interspersed with doing other things. EC probably is going to build a military unit sometime in the middle of that settler for instance.
Here's the frontier:

Hopefully of course TBS just accepts peace and tries to expand some. That's the best result imo.

Wooooh I don't suck at GNP no more:
So I'm in second with 75... man whoever has 107 is doing amazing. Given he's not the guy with 2 religions and the Oracle (TBS), the most this could be inflated by is Religion+Stonehenge, IF those were made by the same person. And then that person would have to be William LP who's been steadily falling in the score standings for what its worth.
Messed up my unit Micro, just accidentally left a chariot next to the barb ax cause i'm stupid, so I had to cover it with this spear. Very unideal, 90% odds of victory though. Urk mistakes.
Nothing much else to report. Still no peace, but no unit sitings. Is he trying to end around me and hit the core? I'm kind of weak there I guess but unless he knows EXACTLY where to go to stay out of sight for as long as possible I should be able to whip a spear defense. And if he takes too long EC will have just pumped out a real military naturally.

TBS offered peace! I accepted. He took a peak inside New Xerxes with a chariot, presumably seeing if he could get a quick kill before deciding on peace.
From here I'm going to have to keep careful watch on the power graphs. I think I've staked out a good division of land between myself and TBS and I can churn out settlers far faster than him. So until there are no spots to settle I think I'm better off playing this game at peace.
OH took a look around SC with a workboat. He wouldn'thave been able to see into the city itself, but he knows where our borders are now. between us there is a wasteland of desert and foodless land, so I think we can avoid fighting over it.
I've still only met the two other civilizations, though there must be at least a 4th on this continent (remember OH's EPs way back when). I could probably satisfy my curiosity with a map trade with OH, but it serves no immediate purpose besides letting OH know the layout of my land, which I think can only be a negative at this point.

Won my fight v the barbarian, and another appears. 95% odds my ax wins if the barb bites the bait.
I'm thinking about settling on that grassland hill. The only problem is I can't fork defend that spot and New Xerxes until construction, urgh. Things to think about. That spot is also competing with this one for the settler out of Riole
See the silver, prettttyyy.
We see the edge of OH's culture here. Makes sense, that cow is a decent resource. I don't think they'll expand much further north though unless that's their only source of horse, there just aren't any good city spots.
I forgot to take a shot of the island, it has clams and grassland pigs, noice. Settling on the next turn or the one after depending if the galley reveals anything else nice. I'll get a shot of it in a bit.

Oh, I also offered both OH and TBS even trades (Gold for Gold and Horse for Horse respectively). I know it doesn't do anything in MP re: binding peace treaties, but thought I might as well send positive signals. I've secured a good space for myself, so now its in my interest that we all stay friends. Friendssssss.
OH I imagine will be fine. there's nothing much for us to compete over. TBS on the other hand... well, it can't hurt. I doubt he's going to forgive and forget, but at least I can try to signal that I'm not planning on immediately attacking him.

Are you hinting I missed something super obvious? Cause that's super believable, though on a brief scan I still can't find it.
If you just want som shots with resource bubbles, sure.

Sorry for being cryptic, I did't mean to alarm. Some shots with resource bubbles, please.
