Two wounded spiders with 36 and 42 hit-points. There is a fifth spider in the dark that may emerge if we fight in place.

And yes the dwarf is slowed, so perhaps it's best if he holds his ground while we set up new positions at the choke. The spiders are faster than us, we can't run.

I know we can't run but somtimes when you are out of sight range the computer ignores you and lets your units sit there alone. We are boxed in to thr north by the spiders. And there is no path of retreat to the south with no healers. . .

So do we want to kill those four spiders quickly and try to stay out of sight of other creepy crawlies in the dark.

Not as bad as I thought, I was worried about the spiders, but I decided if they retreated they died so I pushed forward. During the 3 turns I lost the 2nd lvl dwarf and someone else. but I killed all the spiders. Basically the spiders being lvl 3 was a godsend. when ever a unit got poisoned I made sure he got the last hit and he lvled up, erasing the poison. Thugs are awesome.

Other than that I just kept pressing forward, cycling, recruiting thugs and footpads which are just our best options.

Very nice recovery from my bungling entrance to the spider cave.

Fire&Ice did alot of the work, and the big thug smacked the spiders something fierce. I was just lucky there were 3-4 units that could gain levels from killing the spiders. And that there were enough ranged attackers. I figured we died if we retreated so just had em go at it. Also got really lucky that they focused their attack on the big dwarf who damaged a bunch before he died and made sure they didn't attack and poison more units.

Bruindane I would like to know so i can set this up for your set do you want fight 2 spiders atleast from the start or do you want to be the one to start the fight?

Edit: ignore that I just got you screwed over in a much funnier manner.

I bought a peasent so we can feed him to those level 3 skeletons geting them out of the keeps.

The souther east tunnel lead to a pond with tentecles that always healed like they were on a village so I made the executive desicion to back those troops till we can commit more fire power to this tunnel. 3 tenecles from the deep were in the pond.


And this is where I screw you over pretty well I think.

Its our lich budy and 1 more spider pack.

Luckily over the intern noone moves so It is prolly less dangerous then I am thinking but still finding the boss and another dealy pack of spiders. How great am I.

I love this scenario so far. Had not thought about using peasents as cost-effective bait, good thing too because our gold dipped under 2000 lol

Lewwyn is better at cleaning out messes than I. So I'll see what trouble I can brew up. rolleye

Just avoid the boss for now if he hasn't realy woken up yet thats good
