T46 (probably)
Mackoti completed TGLH
We should be able to whip a Settler in Constantinople next turn, and found the 4th city on T49
In Thessalonica, I decided that putting overflow into Colossus was a good idea (after all we're getting 175% bonus on those hammers: 100% for copper, 50% for Ind, 25% for Forge), but there are better things to build right now. A workboat, for example. The plan still is to grow to size 4 and whip a Worker, then I will put overflow into Colossus again, and 1 chop should complete it. I think. Didn't actually count

Settler whipped. We won't work the FP cottage and the copper mine for a few turns, but getting the 4th city sooner is more important
Thessalonica grew into unhappiness at EOT, so I will switch to Worker next turn, and citizens who dare to be unhappy will be beheaded the turn after. Once we connect furs and gems (gems are improved, but not connected), unhappiness problems will be solved for a while
Turned science on, Writing should be done in 3 turns

NS7 have a Settler on the stone, and I really don't see how we can avoid losing this spot, or what we could've done differently. I'm quite unhappy about it, Cataphract attack on them is becoming more and more likely
Interesting to see what use they intend to get out of this city. For now, all it has to work is water and jungle tiles. Pigs are jungled, and I don't think they have IW yet. Crabs are firmly controlled by Thessalonica, a holy city which will have Colossus very soon (5 turns is my guesstimate). I think this city will be a drain for them, and maybe we will be able to get them gift it to us in a dozen turns

As expected, NS7 did steal our stone
We should consider founding the next city 1S of banana before they steal that spot as well. I'm also quite tempted to build 5 Axes, bring them to the border, and demand this city from them. By then, they should realise they're not stealing the crabs. Maybe they will give in. Of course, wasting hammers on 5 Axes is not something I want to do at this stage
NS7 completed Stonehenge, too

That's a pretty aggressive settlement. When is our next border pop? Think we can keep control of that peak tile, as that way we could gain vision past Luna?
And that was a pretty aggressive settlement, it's not doing much for NS7, so let's keep it that way. Lewwyn, I'm sure you're raging, what do you want to do? I'm happy staying put, that area is worthless for now except for now, and if we'd gone for it, we'd probably have slowed down our push to Guilds. A city south of bananas would be good (later), but it would also be tricky to defend. What NS7 could do is move either NE or NW with War Chariots, forcing us to abandon the bananas city.
The most important thing to do is to keep ourselves alive and relevant until 'phracts come into the picture. Colossus means we can pretty much ignore non-river-grass cottages outside the capital, and let us conquer some for ourselves later.

NS7 offered open borders, which I declined. We won't benefit from it yet, as we don't have Sailing (should we get it soon? it will be difficult to get full benefits from Colossus without Lighthouses), and I do feel we shouldn't be friendly towards them after they founded Luna
Detailed overview post forthcoming after work

Sailing absolutely, 2/0/3 tiles are infinitely stronger than 1/0/3 tiles. If anything, we don't need to prioritise Colossus that hard, I doubt anyone else has Metal Casting.

I'm not exactly prioritising Colossus... I'm just putting overflow into it. And of course, we get 175% bonus on that overflow, which is why it's almost done
Ok, I think Sailing will be a boost to our economy, and we do need it. I don't want to open border with NS7 (because they're total bastards) and Mackoti (because he has TGLH), but I'm all for opening borders with others and getting international trade routes. So we will research Sailing next, then Math/Currency. Still not sure where IW fits in
I'm actually starting to think about colonising some islands. There is a really nice looking place to our south
However, it looks like this island won't be contested, so maybe we should try to grab a city on the eastern island
Finally, we should think about getting the stone between us an Sian. Although again, we need IW to consider founding in this area

Yeah, I'm thinking at some point we found 889 of Adrianople, and control the jungle using our CRE borders. After that, we found 2 of the stone.

Empire overview as of T51
We have 4 cities. In city count, NS7 are ahead of everyone with 7, Luddicator and Sian have 5, Mackoti is at 4 as well, and Fierce trailing with 3. I'm really surprised NS7 already have the economy to maintain 7 cities (including one which we know is useless), but they went for early Pottery, so probably they already have quite a few matured cottages
Cities
Our problem is that we didn't let the cities grow so far. We're dead last in crop yield and in population, and aren't doing great in other categories too
I'm really starting to doubt the Oracle opening; this is the second game I'm trying it, and again it seems to put me behind. Either I'm doing something wrong, or it's not as good as it seems to be
Graphs
We seem to be ok in GNP, but MFG and especially CY are very poor so far
