well yeah going religion before BW or hunting would, of course. not saying we could have done better, but its still annoying. whoever ends up conquering williamLP's capital will be in great shape. with 18 people, the non-muslim religions will get spread around nicely, I imagine.

Well its some of the same players all around us but I wouldn't say retread. Pindicooter look like they are NW of us. I think the North is all jungle and it is all ours to claim freely. It looks like the coast wraps around it to the north. This means we need IW early and we need to colonize. If anything this reminds me of my time in PB7 when I had a nub of land and then a jungle belt separating me from everyone else.
As far as I can guess so far, Jester is closer to pindicooter than us. I would venture to guess they are similar distances as Azza is from us. So if we can keep peace with joaoAzza, (my god he's going to be annoying with aggressive plants) then we can peacefully expand north and settle towards Jester and Pindicooter. I'm not finished scouting yet but that's my hope. Ugh, Pindicooter are Darius. Let's hope Jester decides to go full revenge mode. I'm going to try and cut off Pindicooter's scout in the jungle with the scouting warrior and kill it so they can't find our borders.

We'll need IW, but maybe we try to settle that island? 5th city? Other thoughts?

it looks like maybe the 4 of us are alone on this island. so land on the big island will be valuable.
ICTR's will be nice, of course, but that means fishing, sailing, and a settler going there instead of gobbling up limited mainland land. hmm, so not sure. whats your plan for tech after the wheel? even if we abandon the oracle, I think we should plan the quickest way we can get cho-ko-nus (we'll have oppurtunity for war by then).

We want fishing anyway for city 3, but I agree we should prioritize the land first and foremost, and besides, we can get peaceful trade routes (even if they do come late). Still, maybe C6 depending on usable locations? Definitely before the jungle.
