Solid blacksite run. Being shaken isn't a terrible thing, if we can choose the right time to boost his confidence back up then the will boost can be useful. Plus with Leewyn having Phantom it shouldn't be difficult to avoid taking damage.
Guardian > Ever Vigilant for Jowy. WK promo depends on if we want a demolition or gunner grenadier. I would prefer going down the gunner route for my guy and since we have mag weapons I think it's the superior choice, so Holo Targeting (and all future heavy gunner promos) for WK.
IIRC the next mission is a retaliation mission. Lewwyn do you remember how long it took you to go for blacksite after opening the save? Looks like 2-3 days so we have a bit of time to prepare for that, but if it's more then that then the next player won't have much time to prepare.
Contacts... Probably New Arctic first to go for the Asia continent bonus and then start heading towards Chile? Unless another facility pops up.
BTW, 2 of the last 3 pics of the base management are broken for me.

I took 2 days on intel gathering, then flew over to the black market then to black site. So yes 2-3 days, pretty quick.
We have 125 supplies from the mission, plus some more corpses and such to sell to the Black market if needed, so there is money to play around with, possibly to build something.
I think I fixed the pics. Had an extra space in the code.

Always guardian for Jowy, and I agree with holo given the earlier suppression choice.
Surprise! Turns out I'm a girl!

Nicely done.
So we've got DP101 and Jkaen left in rnd2; do we know if Jkaen is back from his trip?
Do we release the Rulers now that we have a full set of upgraded weapons and armor is on the way, or keep busy for the Retaliation?

Should do the Retaliation first, at least I will assume no-one wants to fight a Ruler on a mission like that.
About the Shaken player, I usually have a Mindshield on them to counter their lack of will. Not sure if we had that technology yet.
I think we want to build a workshop if we have the supplies. Or maybe Radio towers if we haven't built any yet.

I should be good to play the turn Friday if no one has taken it by them. Given I have never fought rulers before I think I will just wait and do the regular missions. That is, unless someone has a spare save handy that is from a mission with a ruler that I can practice with.

Don't think I've seen a Ruler on a Retaliation mission, but agree we probably don't want to risk it (or having key troopers injured for the Retaliation).
Mindshield requires Sectoid research IIRC, and I don't think we've gone there yet (or got the freebie). Lewwyn can probably sit out until the next G.Ops mission.
I think the Engineer's in the AWC cutting down on recovery time for Lewwyn, but we can probably pull for a while if we need them for something else?
DP - the Snake Pit mission would actually be a good Ruler intro since you can fully control when you trigger it and so have max setup. (you also get Bradford & his absurd gun along as well) Of course the rest of the mission can be a bit hairy...

I had the Berserker Queen show up in a Retaliation mission in my Ironman Again playthrough. Got pretty lucky there that I was able to handle it and not lose all the civilians.

Can confirm, Berserker Queen on a Retaliation mission.
Archon ruler on a facility assault.
