WW35: Not Another TPS Report [Game Thread]

Right, except for the fact that there was no distancing involved with me. I had every one of the mafia, at one point or another, attacking me to some degree or another. In Qg's case, he spent an entire day on my ass, and only pulled off when his scum buddy being outed became more valuable than lynching someone with an unknown role. TT was on my nuts for 3 days, and only got off because he was killed. I don't care how you try to twist it, I was on TT for 2 freaking days, non stop, and only switched off him at one point because the way I saw it, the vote was going to lynch bob, and I felt dtay lookes more likely to be scum than bob. Yeah yeah, I know you have painted this huge case where I'm supposedly fucking omnicient, and could tell what was going to happen to the TT vote, but I didn't see it. Sue me. I've been leading accurate crusades against scum since day one, and all you have against it is some muddying of the waters.

As to the whole Q should have claimed Mattimeo as a scan, I don't buy it. I don't buy that a watcher is going to watch a confirmed town that has all but been promised a damn doctor. Mafia is not going to waste a n1 kill, ESPECIALLY a cop, to the possibility of getting caught. It's worth the strongarms life to kill the cop, and you know it.

All you have here is some supposition based on pure bs. You're digging deep, but you're not coming up with as much as you think you are. You have been playing more and more scummy as you got closer to what you thought was your victory, and it's biting you in the damned ass. You're going down Zak, get used to the idea :P

By distancing, I mean accusing your scum buddies (and being accused in return).

I don't think your voting record gives much grounds for clearing you. Throwing regular accusations against TT doesn't count for much when you backed off him at a crucial point in time and even attacked Molach for voting him. Your excuse on day 2 was that you wanted to review TT's defense before lynching him. So instead you voted for dtay, where you didn't even have time to review the case? Makes no sense to me. If you weren't properly caught up, the one choice you should have been comfortable with would be to stay on TT. TT was still a viable lynch, and Meiz pointed that out to you right there and then.

You also have a pattern of cruising through long periods with no real contributions. Just a steady stream of "I have to reread/catch up/do some thinking/try some scum-hunting-by-absence" comments to keep your options open and not have to fabricate actual opinions on what's going on.

I'll say it again:
A town watcher would watch Mattimeo to look for visiting killers/roleblockers.

I don't understand how you can disagree with that part.
If you know what I mean.

I see what you mean by distancing, but that idea fails when I'm doing my best, and succeed, in getting two of the lynched. You however, drop little crumbs everywhere, on both sides of every accusation, just so you can claim you were right all along. Hell at yesterdays lynch you were even trying to convince Fenn to kill me instead of Qg. The ultimate act of protection for a scum. But of course, you will just try to point to other places where you disliked Qg and be like SEE! I was after him! I'm the good guy here! You have NO substance to your play, you just try to balance yourself so evenly that you never really commit, in order to squirrel out of any accusations while stirring up as much crap to confuse the town as possible. i'm not buying it.

Just to bring some more perspective here.

Zak has to be Q's partner. Town, I'm counting on you to lynch him tomorrow!

Ok. I'll let you have that final word. I don't think I have anything substantial to add.

Let's hear the verdict, Jkaen.

I'm pretty much in the same boat I think.

I wouldn't mind an answer to this, though. You do know the difference between tracker and watcher, right?

Yes, I understand. What you are ignoring is the fact that there is no reason to assume the mafia would be going after someone that is almost guaranteed to be protected. Since I'm not assuming a strongarm, I'm going to watch another likely town target, not the one I'm sure wont be visited.

Of course, if I were mafia the whole game, and knew I had a strongarm buddy, then maybe I would view it differently.

Ok. I think it's still very likely that a town watcher would choose Mattimeo, because chances are high that he will either be killed or roleblocked. So to the scum, the probability that he was watched was about the same as the probability that he was protected. And having a killer caught red-handed is maybe worse than failing a kill. (At least if the would-be killer is a player with superb cover, like Q.
