Power didn't change at all.
What about Losing?
Don't know yet, I haven't got the required number. Last turn it was 4 hammers.
I'll log on & check tomorrow morning.

That's not a multiple of 3, so they're not crash-building an archer.
If you know what I mean.

Thanks plako.
Losing has 6 hammers into something.
(A note on the numbers - T49 it was 3.99, T50 it is 5.99 to the nearest 0.01 ... I still don't quite know how those map to actual hammers, so it could be 3 & 5 instead of 4 & 6.)

Without looking at the formulas, it seems likely that the number of required EPs is computed based on the number of hammers and then truncated down. So when you reverse that process, you will potentially end up with a slightly lower hammer count. In other words, you should round up, to 4 and 6 hammers.
Can't be bothered with more careful phrasing, so hopefully the above is crystal clear. :P

Yeah, I think that makes sense

As discussed, nothing interesting happened to TEAM.
Menagerie whipped their capital from 4 to 2, and have another Axe. They are now up to 5 Axes and 5 Warriors, and are the scary looking power figure. Pirates should be shaking in their shoes
Gillette did nothing of note.
Pirates whipped their capital from 3 to 2, and have 10k of soldiers to account for as units or buildings. They have 3 cities, so that can be up to 3 things. My guess, given they're facing Axes, would be 2 Archers plus a Chariot. Or possibly a Barracks or two instead of Archers. 2 Warriors instead of a Chariot would feel foolish to me. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Remember that the reverse-engineered process (converting the EP value back to hammer count) doesn't actually happen in the game code, that's just us humans applying the formula backward. Really you want to simply round to the nearest integer, not always up or down.

Thanks for the confirmation. I've made my spreadsheet do the rounding now, so it all looks a lot cleaner
