I think our best approach for a few days is to sit silently and let the other teams knock the Germans around a little (as per the CFC thread at the moment).
I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.

I agree with that Ruff. After that, I think Sullla had a nice description: the German team will never end turn or play the turn with an hour left on the timer. We can live with a 44-hour timer even though we'd like it to be shorter, but 80 hours is just too much.

Yesterday, they logged in with 5 hours left, sat in-game for half an hour, then left without ending turn. And never logged in again. That's the kind of behavior that gets everyone so angry. There is clearly no reason why they couldn't have ended their turn when they left. Everyone waited an extra 5 hours for absolutely no reason whatsoever.

I believe the German phrase for this type of behavior is Uber-Douchey.
