Ok, on to the game. Next turn is T100 so I'll save a State of the Empire report for then. Last turn Gawdzak offered me peace after killing my chariot, I didn't accept so I could have a look around. I decided afterwards that it still is in my interests to not be at war, so I re-offered, which he accepted. The 10 turn peace will give me an opportunity to send workers unescorted to tiles on the border with Gawdzak, and also focus on non-unit production for a while. My top two hammer cities are both making settlers: I have one spot left on the mainland to settle, and a couple of islands I want to grab. I may also settle a city on the inside coast, to the SE of Memory of Trees, but I haven't decided yet if I should. It would be vulnerable to attack by Gawdzak, I already have three cities on the border to his two, although only 2 of mine are really open to attack. But this city spot may be quite vulnerable.
Gawdzak also asked for OB, which I did not accept. I know that he has quite limited knowledge of my land, and I want it to stay that way. He's going to get currency next turn, while I'm on schedule to get it in 5 turns. However, thanks to my OB with Dreylin and AT, I think that I am in a position to get a lot more out of currency, in the form of IC trade routes, than he is right now. From what I can tell, of the civs I've met only AT and BGN have currency now, with Gawdzak getting it next turn, but only myself and Dreylin have Alphabet for OB, and Gawdzak hasn't met Dreylin. Still don't know if going for Alphabet first was the right call. But, it's what I did, so that's that.
Turn 100
First things first, here's a stitched-together shot of my empire, showing that I have 7 "monsters" within my borders:
Now that that is done, I can talk about my general plans and what not. I have 1 more turn after this one building up cash to get Currency. It only takes me 3 turns to get Currency at 100% science, but at the cost of 80 gold a turn. By that time I'll have 11 cities, and I have OB with AT, so Currency will give an immediate 33 commerce/t.
Post Currency I'm going to get HBR, followed by Construction. Then, I'll build up to attack Gawdzak. He has a lot more land to expand into than me, and although mine is generally more productive now (except in food), it wont be for long if I give him plenty of time. I also want to take advantage of my Ivory before pikemen arrive.

City Overview
Wild Child
Wild Child is starving because I decided that for the 5 turns it would take to build the lighthouse, I'd rather work the whales than the wheat, trading 5 food out of the city's growth box for 20 commerce. My GS is 4 turns away. Anywhere Is
After the settler, it's going to be units only, in preparation for the attack. Memory of Trees
Same as AI, max hammers and units. I had the potential here to get the settler out 1 turn earlier, but at the cost of not working the cottages for the entirety of production, which I did not think was worth it. Aniron
Mainly commerce-oriented, going to grow onto coast until the cap, then switch to a couple of mines. Those forests on the island I'll chop into a barracks. Orinoco Flow
Same as AI and MoT. It's hit the cap so I'll focus on hammers and units after the library. Pax Deorum
With only the wheat as food, Pax isn't going to grow quickly, but once those two grasslands are cottaged, it will get up to the cap soon enough, and then focus on units. The galleys from here and Aniron are to transport settlers and workers to the islands. My other two galleys are out exploring. Only Time
Growing up fast, I still haven't decided on an eventual set-up for this city. There isn't a lot of hammer potential, but I could cottage up those river-side plains. It's not something I normally do in Civ4, but it might be the best way to get the most out of this city. May It Be
This is the city I "acquired" from Adrien/Mardoc. This screeenshot is out of date, that overflow from the granary whip is going into a lighthouse, then I'll swap to the monument and whip it at size 3, once again putting the overflow into the lighthouse, which will be whipped to completion. This city will remain something of a whipping post, since it has plenty of food and not much else going for it. China Roses
Still early days for China Roses, but as with the others, I'll grow it up to the cap asap, work cottages and mines, and make units. On My Way Home
Same as China Roses. Grow, work cottages and mines, build units. I will whip the granary to completion asap though. I may have mentioned this before, but being able to 1-pop whip granaries so easily is fantastic.

I remember, but thanks.
They're not as OP as in vanilla BTS, but they're still useful, good at making slow-moving stacks hard to attack. HA's are going to be the big thing, since I plan on taking Ecbatana on the first turn of a war, which will open up Persepolis to attack by 2-movers.
Ran into Jowy right where I expected him to be. A Great Scientist and a Great Engineer have been born, and Confucianism has been founded, all in far away lands. Not much happening to me however, just chugging along, and dreading the tile micromanagement I'll have to do when my own GS is born and I fire the two scientists in Wild Child. Building cities close enough to share tiles can be really useful, but it also makes it that much more time consuming to micro those tiles between them.
So I am thinking that there isn't another continent anywhere, maybe some islands, but no New World.
That is a line of ocean above the galley, even the tile to the north of the little island.
And here is the globe view. What I don't know is if the coast on the other side of that ocean belongs to a large island, a small island like the ones I've already seen, or the bottom of the continent.
I also met Yuri:
I imagine that the fogged area between Yuri and Nyles is roughly where they were fighting over, they're at peace now however, but I don't think that Yuri is long for this game.
In other news, my Great Scientist arrives next turn:
I also have a settler ready to found a city next turn and another settler coming out of Memory of Trees. I'm going to swap over to full military build-up mode, and I have a plan for a much earlier attack on Gawdzak than I had previously mentioned. Gawdzak just finished IW in the interturn, and has swapped to Metal Casting, but even if that isn't what he is actually planning to research doesn't have the gold to continue researching at 100%. So no HA's or Cats any time soon. I'll show off my attack plan after next turn.
