sorry if I cam keeping the turn right now.
I had no time to play yesterday due to a family health emergency but everything seems stable now and I should get the turn tonight.

On my side the turn sometimes arrived just slightly to late and I do not always manage to play it instead in the morning when getting up. Work and house project are time demanding right now and it is hard to justify staying up to late, especially as I have to commute about 1 - 1.5 hours 3 days a week.

This explains most of my longer turns as when I get it in my window I can play it right away.
In the end it looks like I sometimes would be able to play before TBS at least, so in hindsight we should have been switched.

Explains things. If I get the turn before 22 p.m. CET I can do it. Afterwards I get a very, very stern look when I try to start up the CPU and thus it comes to a 8 a.m. CET move that I do from the office.

Eh, no worries. If anything it's helped everyone understand why our turn pace is where it is, which can only be a good thing.

Yeah, I could definitely do better, but I think it's hard to squeeze 7 windows into one day. At the start I could always fit turns in during the morning or in short windows but it's got a lot harder. I think Kaiser's probably right that I should have been after him.

Ireland is shutting down for a while at least due to the coronavirus so on the plus side I should be at home more often to keep the save moving.

I'm currently planning to go away from the 19th to the 29th and won't be able to play turns. I'm still not sure if we're going to go ahead with it but I'll try organise a sub anyway.

To all players, I am currently in position of 150 gold that I have to maybe get rid of thanks to not remembering the rules about CS pillaging.

Please take note of that and act accordingly, I will get rid of that gold at the earliest opportunity if the majority sees it as a rule.


I think things got a bit unclear in that discussion as some pages after page 3-4 we said all CS are fair game.

Please a quick check in how this issue is viewed.

I went back through the thread. You can declare on city-states provided they have no suzerain. If they have a suzerain you must declare on the suzerain in order to engage in war against a city-state. Pillaging city-states also appears to be banned except for farms & fishing boats (ie healing pillages only).

Not sure what to suggest regarding the gold you've got other than making your new zero point 150.

My recollection was that we had banned pillaging tiles for gold. Looking back at the rules after you pillaged the mine I did not think we were clear enough to complain about it. I didn't pillage tiles earlier when I had the chance but I did pillage a trade route and this may also be suspect.
