While we're waiting, there is still the most important decision of all: The naming theme!
I'm trying to come up with something witty, but so far haven't had too many interesting ideas. Suggestions welcome!

I am awful at coming up with naming schemes so no help from me :P
I always end up using unoriginal stuff like taking things from books i've read or whatever

Oh, do pokemon! There's like 500+ unit names, and more cities than you'll ever settle.

Get out, sir.
Actually, I have thought of a good naming scheme for cities at least. But I still need something appropriate for the units so keep the suggestions coming.
No Pokemon though. And by extension, no Harry Potter or Twilight either.

Famous philosophers/thinkers
Start with the famous ones; Platon, Socrates, Aristotle, Descartes, Hobbes, Bacon, Mills, Locke, Bentham, Hume, Kirkegaard, etc
then when you run out you can just go get obscure ones on wiki

Ooh, that might be an interesting combination combined with cities named after sleep-related terms.
