If Bob is convinced Lanun are not overpowered in this game, I say we play on, huts and warts and all.
Come on Uber, if either Mardoc or Darrell win this game, we can blame the overpowered leader or hut luck. It's guaranteed win-win for us.
besides, Darrell needs all the help he can get

Huts are on because at least a couple people from XVa wanted them on, and I made the map according to their specifications because this game did not yet have a full roster or posted preferences. You only asked Dave to change the leaders, not edit the features of the map as well.
If anyone is bothered that the Lanun have access to the coast and therefore may or may not have advantages regarding certain aspects of the game, perhaps FFH isn't the mod for you.

I'm not holding the save, I sent it to the tracker yesterday. Forwarding it to Darrell now in case the tracker isn't working.
Start position being nice for Lanun is fine, start being bad for everyone else was more my complaint.
Huts are fine.

Alright, having seen some more of the map, I'm ready to throw in the towel. Jungle interior and Lanun coastal paradise = boo!
Edit: or we could restart on the same map, with everyone playing Falamar...

I can see it. I didn't expect that much jungle and coast when I argued to continue playing. Granted as Lanun I have to snowball ahead of you guys or you crush me in late game, but this is a little much.
I don't really want to do a mirror match, though, that takes a lot of fun out of it. So do I pick a new leader (do we all pick new leaders?), or do we want to try to find a mapmaker for a new map, or what? I still want to play an EitB builder game with y'all.
If there is a budding mapmaker out there, I would like to be able to read the 15a threads...

I'd say play with the same leaders, but with a new map.
Ichabod offered to make us a map back when we we talking about the game, maybe he's still up for it?

No one is hurt more by Jungle than the Elves, and I still want to keep going :neenernee.
I'm not bothered either way; I'll hold the save until we reach a consensus.

From the IT thread in case you guys didn't see it.
Anyway, I agree the Lanun do probably have an edge here; TBH I would kinda like to continue playing the same game in some shape or form (although that's probably just my good hut tech talking ), but I don't care strongly enough either way.
