No point increases whatsoever.
Warrior moved SE, revealing river tiles, pigs and banana.
There is also a panther 2N, but on a forested hill we should be more than safe.
Here the demographics.
Research is back to Hunting.
Warrior will go SW next turn I'd suggest.

Well, thanks to WePlayCiv we waited the full 48hours for the next turn to roll.
Hunting came in and we are now set to Pottery.
Warrior got ignored by the panther and moved 1SW, revealing nothing new.
But at least there is some movement on the scoreboard. kjn, get cracking!
I suggest warrior continues SW next turn. And then maybe move towards a southern forest for protection? Don't really want him to stray too far from the capital.
Also, sunrise will take over turnplaying for now, as I am not available over the weekend.

Turn 10 - 3600 BC
I sat there thinking about whether to move S or SW with our warrior for a couple of minutes. I was perfectly willing to leave one tile fogged if it meant additional safety for our warrior. However, moving S instead of SW (and leaving one tile fogged) meant 3 potential tiles on which a barb animal could be sitting, as opposed to 4 potential tiles. Only the slimmest of extra margins of safety - not enough to be worthwhile, in my opinion. I moved SW to get all the tiles.
None of this ended up mattering though:
That lion would have been sitting there regardless of where we moved. Uh, I guess I feel better? Based on what I read in the XML, we do not get a free win versus a barb animal here on Emperor, and the lion has 90% chance to attack us with a 10% strength penalty. Our odds of surviving should be roughly 2/3. Not great. All we can do now is cross our fingers for next turn. This is the one part of Civ4 combat which is kind of silly. If we win (due to dumb luck), we get XP and continue exploring. If we lose due to same dumb luck, we are set far behind. Just need the dice to fall on our side here.
Inside Adventure One:
This should be correct. Worker moved to corn and began farming. Demographics for completeness:
FYI, I hate playing with a million signs everywhere. I'm deleting them all next turn unless someone can make a convincing case to keep individual signs. We don't really need 25 signs about tile bleeding.

Turn 11 - 3560BC
This was a good example of why having barbs on can be so frustrating:
Our warrior has been on defensive terrain nearly every turn, but the one turn he had to move through flat ground, that was the turn that a lion appeared next to him in the fog. There was a 10% chance that the lion wouldn't attack, and then we had 67.8% odds to win the battle. Neither one went our way, and our scouting warrior is now dead. Pretty dumb. Our warrior goes down to one of those big stupid early game dice rolls.
As kjn said, this doesn't really change the micro plan much at all. We certainly don't want to alter our fast-starting growth plan to push out another warrior. We can crash-build a warrior if need be should an enemy unit show up. The big detriment is the fact that we won't be getting any scouting info for the immediate future, and that's a big loss. We are scheduled to get another warrior on Turn 18, and then another warrior on Turn 39. Again, we can alter this if need be, but I would prefer to keep pushing growth unless we see another team and see them taking an aggressive posture.
Demographics. No increase in Power or population from any of the other teams. CivFr almost certainly picked up Agriculture for themselves. Not much more to say - hopefully teams will play faster than they have been doing. We literally have nothing to do right now other than end turn.

Worker continues farming, 2t to go on corn farm.
That is all.

Still farming. We will finish the corn farm next turn, and grow to size 2 in two turns.
Demos are virtually unchanged. No new techs, no Pop growth, no Power increases, no change to Food/Production. Average GNP went up by one point. That's a bit strange, wonder why someone would be swapping tiles and/or research right now. Maybe kjn can figure it out.
Time to wait another 48 hours now.

Turn 14 - 3440BC
We have finished the corn farm at our capital. This sent food production to staggering new heights:
A six food tile, OMG!!! And we get three more food from settling on the banana resource. If any other teams are running their own version of Cloak and Dagger, they'll be scratching their heads next turn when we're producing 12 food/turn on Turn 15.
Demographics. We are the only team with 1 production. However, we are also tops in Food as expected with the completion of the corn farm. We hit size 2 next turn on T15, and size 3 a mere three turns after that on T18. We should be leading in the Demographics after that, and hopefully it maks a lead that we will never relinquish.
I agree on the points about WePlayCiv and CivForum.de likely meeting one another. They have been among the last to play every turn for a little while now. WPC has also been logging into the game 5-6 times per turn without ending turn, and I feel like we should give them at least a little credit. I can't imagine a team would need that many logins if they were just moving their warrior. If we are lucky, no one will stumble into us for a little while yet, while we run our minimum defense opening.

Apolyton waited until they were the only one left to play, then immediately logged in and ended turn. An early candidate for this game's Parkin award?
Done with the corn farm, our worker moved one tile northeast and pre-roaded the marked tile. He moves onto the deer tile next turn. The capital itself has grown to size 2:
Now making 12 food/turn at size 2, 15 turns into the game. Not bad, not bad. We will have an actual military unit again in 3 more turns, after which we start on worker #2.
I love that Food stat. This is basically the Civ4 equivalent of "First Blood" in League of Legends. Someone is already snowballing, and that means trouble for everyone else.
We'll want to watch the Demographics this turn to see if anyone else finishes a corn farm later on in the turn. At least one other team has the potential to do so. Kjn is keeping an eye on this in the C&D thread.

Turn 16 - 3360BC
Quiet turn. Our worker moved over to the deer, and will start camping it next turn. We have a panther pal hanging around up to the northwest. Still two more turns until growth and warrior completion.
The most noteworthy event was CivFr growing to size 2 a turn behind us. CivPlayers rushed a warrior after finishing their worker, presumably slowing down city growth to do so. Interesting call there. A lot of warriors are going to start finishing from other teams soonish, as everyone who went worker first completes a warrior as their second build. We'll also get the second round of tech completions soon.
Otherwise, quiet turn without much going on.
