Hey folks! Let's have a good game.
Novice for mayor.
novice Wrote:This comes off as overly defensive, no?
I didn't read it that way when I took the second part into consideration:
Catwalk Wrote:Hey all. So, I'm not mafia and I'm going to bed now. And I'll be gone for the next 48h, see you!
I hear Gaspar makes shoddy credenzas.

novice is probably scum as usual.
I'll vote Rowain for mayor because it would be hilarious if Gaspar helped elect him and he then voted Gaspar off in a tiebreak. Also his town/scum alignment is relatively easy to read.

How can I be a Pizza Delivery Boy if there's no Pizzaiolo? The Pizzaiolo is probably dead, so I'm making the Pizzas for now.
novice Wrote:Do you expect us to believe that you randomly made Tasunke the book reviewer a Librarian, Catwalk the contrarian a Bureaucrat, Rowain the belligerent a Town drunk, and Lewwyn the bully a Garbage collector?
Anyway... As a professional secretary I believe I've learned the ins and outs of serving as Mayor, so vote novice for mayor. As for who to execute, I've heard that Tasunke likes burning things, we really can't have any of that nonsense.
Didn't understand the first paragraph, where did those titles come from?
And regarding the second one, do you think you'd make a good mayor, Novice?

I think it's more of a pre-planned comment, something he'd say whatever role he got. But especially considering the time between roles and the start of the game, that's probably a bad interpretation (the one I made). I was comparing it with the big post that Gaspar made voting himself as mayor in one of the WW games, which I believe he made even before seeing his PM. But in this case, it's hard to believe that you wouldn't take your role into account before making a comment, due to the delay.

Well, the Tasunke comment comes from the fact that he got mislynched last game, in part, due to an off-hand (and random) review of a book he read. I can't figure out what would relate garbage collectors to bullies though.
No votes, Ichabod?

Serdoa is the chef. If you take his job, he'll have to be the town drunk - and clearly you are made for that job!

Resisting the urge to vote for you.
Not right now. I want to hear a bit more before voting.

I don't think Rowain is so easy to read. Better to go with someone like Zakalwe. Everybody agreed he was obvscum in the last game, so he should be easy to catch if he's scum.
I am of course willing to open my diary for public scrutiny, to prove that I have a clean record.
If you know what I mean.

Ichabod, I'm not sure what your position on catwalk is. You think his post was pre-planned due to the timing? If so, what does this say about his alignment?

No. His post seemed to be pre-planned (I mean, something he'd post when the game started, whatever he rolled). But it's hard to believe he wouldn't take his role into consideration considering the delay between role and game.
So, I guess I was making a critic at novice's comment, but I realized it's not a valid one. But regarding Catwalk's post itself, I can't say. It didn't give me any special feelings. So, you can say that I have a neutral position about it, all being said.

Garbage collector = sanitation worker = the "legit" job of mafioso (at least American mafioso). Probably a bad joke playing on lewwyn's eagerness to be scum, and makes me think he rolled village once again. Or could just be an oversight by Brick
I also agree that Zak is much easier to read than Rowain. I'm voting for TT for the same reason, but could switch to Zak.
