Totally on board with straight re-using an old map. Would be especially fun to see how long it takes for them to figure it out.
If you're still looking for ideas - I'd really like to see a Global Highlands game sometime. It's a pretty fun script for MP, but balancing it is pretty difficult. Ah, is that the one that's like Highlands, but then its like, continents are cut out of it like a cookie cutter? Ah, I don't think I'm up for that much effort, and it sounds like a bit of a slog with this many players. A very slow game. I really like the idea of reusing PB24, but I don't want to reuse it exactly because then people would have the map verbatim available to them, which seems lame. So, what I'll do is make a template for a 2-continent pangea, and then I'll fill in the land/lakes with the PB24 land/resources/etc pretty much verbatim. (which itself was the PB1 land!) Then I'll see about adding my special start. I could have something ready by tomorrow.
Any volunteers for checking?
I think I would have kept Dr Cairo's combination but I'm a sucker for synergy (EXP baray).
