Another chariot battle to give me heart attack. At least that's an HE unit for me eventually.



Settling a city next turn close to seven, and have another settler out right after that. Haram is still lowballing HBR (26 turns to completion, obviously is saving gold for a quick burst). Slowly catching up in demos, but am still laughing how far behind I am. I'm getting a lot of use out of Cha, whipping out infrastructure and units in my newer cities while still working solid tiles and specialists.

Why did you research Sailing? Are you planning on a city where the chariot is to the north of personalhamster?

For trade route income with Parkin and SevenSpirits. Nets me +7 commerce a turn extra compared to my internal trade routes. A few of my cities can also build lighthouses for good effect.

I'll definitely be putting a city on the chariot spot (that exact spot, as you say), but it'll have to wait for a bit; I can't improve the pigs until I get Iron Working to chop down the jungle. All my future settling will likely be in that direction; I think eagerday is as close as I want to get to Seven, and hitshowers/oldtricycle will be as close as I'll get to Haram and Parkin. (I might try to get one more city to the west of greatcatwigs to grab a 2nd-ring crab, but that won't be for a bit).

Something like 8 more turns till Currency... Haram just offered me Rice for Open Borders, and I accidentally accepted without thinking. Well, I guess we'll try to be friends now; I hope he isn't just scouting me out for efficient Keshik travel paths...

Haram is suddenly 1T away from HBR... he switched it away from that many turns ago, while saving gold, but now is suddenly 1T away. I guess he musta switched it to HBR whenever he saw he could play after me, and then switched it back. =/ I did see him log into the tracker many times after he had already played. He also declared war on Seven this turn, presumably trying to fish for a peace treaty so as to blitzkrieg me with impunity. I've been setting down roads and building spears in anticipation for this, but I thought I had a little more time... I was finally starting to catch up to the pack, too. =/ I have 2 settlers 1T away from completion in my queues, ready to go down the turn I land Currency, and a GS coming in 3 turns... gonna have to hit the whip a bit I guess... can't say that I don't have it coming to me.
