At least if William and Dark Savant have contact in-game, you might as well notify Dark Savant of the new split, since if they can see you're in a war with the other (and read Civstats), there's nothing that would spoil anyhow, and you'll clear up why it takes longer for you or Dark Savant to play.
Thanks for clearing that up. I expected that this would be the way to handle this.

I felt a great disturbance in the game, as if nine pop suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced. I fear something terrible has happened in JR4 empire. Really curious what he did there.

Dark Savant's troops arrived at Nalanda and will attack it this turn for sure (His army is highlighted). I looked into counterattacking at Museion, but I only could spare this: 2 swordsman, 5 axeman and 1 spearman against his 1 highligh promoted archer, 2 axeman, 1 chariout, 1 spearman. So I will not try this. I also found out for what JR4 whipped his 9 pop last turn. Chu Ko Nu's arrived at his capitol. Somebody will be attacked with this force in the next turns.

Dark Savant offered me peace for 12 gold per turn. I declined. My reasoning is that I may want to start a counterattack eventually; I don't want to pay that price; Peace with Dark Savant won't save me from my other neighbors; And if it ends it ends now.
Nalanda has fallen this turn and to my disappointment no enemy unit were killed. What a bunch of loosers. I'm starting swordsman production for a counterattack. Also my escape galley arrived to take up the settler and one defender.

Dark Savant's troops moved back from Nalanda. The peace treaty with WilliamLP also expired this turn so there is danger on that side again. Other than that it's happily building troops all the time.

Once again I highlighted Dark Savant's forces, but this time I got a real army for him. And another good thing happened. Ipecac needs me to hang around some more and gifted me gems, whale and silver. Obviously my conflict with Dark Savant and my neighbors helps him. It's either that or he pitied the noob. Nonetheless thank you very much Ipecac.

No picture this turn, as not much has happened visually. I'm producing some swordsmen and will start on some cats as soon as Construction is finished. Maybe I can retake some of my cities. So far the other two borders have been quiet. I also forgot to mention that I took a look at the power graph and I'm almost even with Superdeath and wetbandit is also not far away from me. The others are way above us.

So the western borders looks to come along better for now. Pandidakterion's border expanded which helps a lot. Dark Savant moved his axeman into my territory and I moved my axeman to the forest to protect my worker there. Swordsmen are still coming along. Which brings me to ...
...to my soon to be south-eastern front. Yes the JR4's Chu Ko Nus have found their target. I must say I'm a bit disappointed JR4. You are late to the party. Dark Savant and WilliamLP already ate their first piece of the cake. Joke aside absolute right move by JR4. I will propably retreat all of my troops next turn. At least I was able to whip Taehak one last time.
I really hope that WilliamLP also joins in the war. Going down in a 3v1 would be awesome.

Another turn more mistakes for me to make. So moving the axeman to the forest to protect the worker was a total failure. Dark Savant eliminated the axeman with a chariot, which I totally overlooked. Other than that JR4 declared war just as aspected. You can see his army highlighted. My best and only defense against him is with archers, because every other unit that I can build is melee. I left one archer to defend Taehak. My thought was that that way the archer can damage or maybe kill one Chu-Ko-Nu without taking the collateral damage for a whole stack.

JR4 took Taehak this turn as expected. My archer still had terrible odds against his CKN, but at least he managed to damage one CKN down to 1.7 health, which is something.
Back on the other side Dark Savant is preparing some road work near Pandidakterion to start an attack there. Not much can be said.
