We'd probably win, but that would mean that our entire scouting force is in sickbay... I don't know why, but I'm almost certain that there's a food resource hidden in the shadow on the tiles north of the westernmost peak (W W from Tricky). Then again, if we move NW with Tricky, that's four tiles that could hold barb animals, and he'd be on flat ground...

Ooh 5-food-tile, I vote we explore the surrounding area a bit more, let's see if we can make this a valid second city. (That is if Tricky pulls his best lion tamer move)

it's a tough decision. the sheep does change things. i'm a bit concerned settling on the river would be too far away for a second city, but given that it's by far the strongest tile we can see close to the capital, i agree with ilios we should try to reveal more tiles in that area. we can swing round to the south afterwards assuming our warrior doesn't lose next turn

We're EXP, so we could found on the tile S of the lion's current position. Anyway we'll see what other goodies we could find. Lots of forests as well for chopping.

Tricky Dick survived with 1.4 health left. I fortified him to start healing. Hernan is still healing too. Sucks that both of them are out of comission but better than being dead! I ended turn b/c there wasn't anything else to do.

we got a SLIGHTLY better than average outcome with our warrior, 1.4 strength instead of ~1.1 to offset the poor luck w/ Hernan Cortes. i would have preferred it the other way around but beggars can't be choosers

on the + side, the next 3 turns are going to fly by for us, we just need to check nobody's poking around the capital + no animals are threatening our units.
