I guess Rome is not coming after me alone frown. Other alternative is that he plans to settle aggressively, but that would be a city pretty far from his core.

Only Rome has significant army so I guess this is most of TMIT's "free" forces and he was the one that temporarily surpassed us in power few turns ago.

At least you're spiritual so no HR anarchy. How long until HBR?
And on the sixth day, god created Manchester.

Helping out: PBEM23 (Egypt)
Dedlurked: PBEM15 (Ottomans)
Globally lurking: more or less everything else[/SIZE]

ETA for HBR is ~10T although it depends a lot how much military I need to produce and what I do with the Scientist coming in 7T. Scientist gives me some options in case I end up in trouble. If I need to maximise the short term yield, I could start Golden Age or bulb Mathematics.

I had a chat with WK. I offered him OB although I don't benefit from it before I get sailing or road (he just finished sailing). Had to help out my only friend as much as I can wink.

He has Serdoa's and TMIT's graphs. Apparently he is last in power and Serdoa isn't far from him. TMIT has a bit more. So this seems like I can be a bit more relaxed. If there is a dogpile, Serdoa is mostly giving just mental support to others via not signing a NAP. Serdoa has also been stuck to 3 cities for quite a while now.

Powerwise Rome has ~120000 I'm ~100000. Serdoa+WK are probably ~60000 so that leaves ~80000-90000 to TMIT.

Monarchy ready. It might be that HBR would have been better, but I don't want to be playing the game from totally collapsed economy position.

TMIT moved forward and Rome got some 3 Praets (power raise) more and they're really whipping their nation down. I don't think this will be that profitable for them, even if they would end up winning the war. Peaceful developers will be the ones gaining from this war. Too bad I had to follow the suite so next turn it is whipping time.

Are you going to finish that Settler in Felix Leca, or just let it be damned and rot in the queue?

I'd like to finish it and settle relatively safe spot towards WK, but currently I'll build mainly units until I feel safe enough. Hammers decay, but they don't mean a thing if that loses me Felix Leca, that is by far the best city of mine.

Good news: 2nd turn today. Bad news: I'm doomed wink.

TMIT brought a stack of Chariots on the theatre. I'm not sure I can handle those + what Rome will bring in. Well at least I'll keep on trying. Whipped all cities but Felix Leca for 2pop and converted to Hereditary Rule.

Serdoa is joining the "fun":

Quote:I am sure you have already seen the troop movements of Rome and Ottomans. This turn you will notice that I am also moving troops in your direction. The diplomatic situation unfortunately didn't leave me a chance here. Meeting you so late, and only after Rome could threaten me, was not optimal.

Though I know I would be pretty upset about a 3vs1 I hope you will give us a real fight smile

3vs1 in a 5 player game lol. I don't know If I should feel proud that they consider me big enough threat or humiliated that they consider me easy target.

Rome is making a big mistake investing huge amount of hammers and killing their economy. I'm pretty certain they can't take Felix Leca without catapults. They might be able to pillage me to death, but that won't win the game for them. I don't know what TMIT is getting, maybe he is getting land or does a sneak attack later to my south. Nevertheless this is probably at least break even proposition to him. Serdoa hasn't invested much to military so he is probably big winner. He has been sitting with 3 cities for a long time. I guess this indicates he has border deals that enable slow expansion and invest on economy at this point of the game. WK in the sidelines is obvivously biggest winner and can play the game with a token army.
