![]() Worker done. Finished the Cottage for the new city. Swapped the seafood for the mine to delay growth 1T (not growing into unhappiness) and speed up the Library. This will be a great Burea Capitol, so I need an Academy.... Where do I get that Great Scientist? Probably from Rhuidean... While the cottage helper city takes over a few cottages. So I might chop the Library to completion once Maths is done. ![]() Micro-ed CRH to finish the settler next turn. Getting a few more units next and build another mine for more hammers. Spears/Preats it is... Then maybe another settler. I think I have quite enough workers for now... or don't I... seems like I have enough improved tiles to work, seven workers, seven cities in 2T.... And a lot of jungle to chop.... no... do need more workers eventually... maybe not the next 10 turns. ![]() Red Springs connected to the trade network with that one road. That worker will start mining the Iron. Getting a chop in to finish the Granary sooner. Pre-maths, I think... can't have it all.... ![]() Finally finish the Barracks here so there will be a border pop in 11 turns... Military here as well and maybe a worker/settler... maybe I should 2-pop whip a Settler here... we are working unimproved tiles after all and that gets me to 8 cities sooner.... And that's another turn. Anyone got some advice (non-spoiler)?

Delayed all chops untill after Maths. Seems silly not to get an extra 10 hammers everywhere... ![]() Imre Stand will finish the spear and then chop/2-pop whip a Settler. That Settler will probably go for site 4, then going to settle 5. ![]() Seems more important then settling city 3. I'll settle Colrado Hold next turn. ![]() Just struggling along...
T94:
City 7 settled ![]() ![]() Colrada will get the wheat from Rhuidean next turn for faster growth. Chopping a forest into a 1T granary (after Math). Need to get an Archer in there, just in case, but CRH is on military duty again, so that shouldn't be that much of a problem. Decided to use 2 forests and a 1-pop whip for the Settler from Imre Stand in 3-4 turns. Enough time to get a Spear + Archer at the new site. Chariot for scouting will come soon after. ![]() And we see a barb spear... Our axe in CRH already has 7 xp but has to heal a bit... Don't think it will be a problem.
T95:
No time, so no pictures. 1T untill Maths. Lining up the chops. Did whip the Barracks in Alcair Dal, due to working unimproved tiles... And it has no production, few forests and needs a border pop.
T96:
![]() Maths comes in. Going to teach Sailing and then Currency/Calender, but first back to 0% science. Maybe I'll wait with turning science back on untill the Library in Rhuidean is done. ![]() The incoming barb spear. The 7XP axe dealt with is easily (99,5% odds) and is now at 8XP. ![]() Rhuidean is slow building the Library. Getting those cottages worked it all that matters. Wheat went to Colrado Hold for faster growth. ![]() CRH is going to get another mine for more hammers (drop the lake) and keeps pumping military ![]() Finished the Barracks and decided to go with a Library. Lots of cottages here. I'll get a chop done to help with the Library. Maybe a worker after the Library. ![]() Just building some units here, since we only need to grow and don't have anything usefull to build. ![]() Settler for city 8 gets it's first chop. Maybe the second chop is enough to finish it, then we'll whip a worker here before going back to military. ![]() Azza is building a cottage, protected by a Spear. You see my archer/spear move towards site 5, where city 8 will be settled. I'm going to deny Azza that Ivory and Iron. ![]() The fun of being protective! 1 chop Granaries... whoot! Really needs an Archer next... don't know if I'll build it here or send it over. Project "Connect Iron" is still under progress in Red Springs Hold. No pictures there. ![]() Looks like Azza might be a nice target once I can build Praets. Feeling pretty safe with this amount of soldier points and 2 good unit pumps. But I need another one...

Looking at city count on my Island: Azza: 9 Commodore: 10 Lewwyn: 8 Pindooter: 7 Nakor: 7 We're getting ready to settle city 8 and with enough military, we can expand with a few more cities. ![]() Couldn't get the settler done in 1T, but we'll overflow in a Worker and whip that one. Or overflow in another Settler and whip that... not sure... but we need more workers. ![]() Iron mine done. Now only a road and we can build Preats. ![]() Here comes the Archer for Colrada Hold. Going to build a Library there. Nine Valley's will start a WB to scout a bit (probably a waste of hammers with Barb Galley's around). Tech wise, I'm unsure. Sailing next, that's no problem, but then? Currency for commerce Calender for those jungle happy resources Construction for a war against Azza Monarcy for bigger cities The question is: what do I need first? Got a few more days to think about that, but any input from lurkers is welcome! |
