Poor Ichabod is, in fact, getting Theoden'ed. Every turn civstats is mean to him.

[Spoilers] Mismanaged empire is best empire

If Dtay wants 10 gold to help me I'll gladly give him.
![]() I'm successfully kicking Ichabod out. His small WE/cat stack was wiped and his elite knight stack is trapped. ![]()
Goodbye elite stack !
![]() I lost the first pike vs knight battle at 89%... After that all the battles were >90%, most >95% so all were won. All the knights were sent southeast towards Boak, where I intend to recapture all the cities he took back lately. ![]() Ok mate ![]() Gavagai attacking HAK, while unsurprising, was really bad for me. If HAK pulls back his troops and Boak sends his stack north I probably won't have enough guys to defeat it.
Short answer : No
Long answer : Dtay saved me right before it became too late, and Gavagai is busy eating HAK. But that leaves my other two neighbors Boak and Barteq. Boak is weak which gives me an opportunity, and I don't think he really wants peace or he would have tried to offer it when Ichabod peaced out. On the other side Barteq is without an opportunity for conquest, with his neighbors Gav and Dtay having the biggest army in our continent. Which means I'm 95% sure that he'll attack once our peace treaty ends. Also he has kept his 1-movers in the cities he took from me, which isn't a very peaceful gesture. To be honest at this point I could try to turtle up, use my (soon) muskets to mount a good enough defense until massive cuirassiers armies are a thing. But that's really not fun. Overall I'm likely to gain land from Boak soon but also quite likely to lose land to another Barteq invasion once the peace treaty ends. That's not very stable.
Boak proposed peace.
![]() I considered taking it but I wanted to take a look. It was a good thing because I found out that Boak had taken a shot at my knight stack with his pikes, and killed a few. By doing that he put his pike stack wide open. So I destroyed the stack (and razed Milton Paradise). ![]()
Looks like his workers are fleeing toward the safety of enemy lines. Do you grant them freedom (to work to death in your great empire) or treat them with suspicion and hang them all as spies?
