Is that character a variant? (I just love getting asked that in channel.) - Charis

[Spoilers] Amelia, Tempest of the Seas

End of turn, Sailing and Work boat for last cove at Cerulean came in =) Also, Plantation finished, and my GNP is now 70+, 2nd in place in fact.

Compared to the mighty Ilios running away with 3 digit GNP though...

Also, NAP with Calabrim till T100, so that they don't have to worry about me when they attack the desert dwellers.

Slight update, i have contact with the Elves, under Uberfish! Relations are pretty good, even with differing religions. He found me through a hawk, and i'm so not complaining, due to a slight increase in beakers.

However, he too is worried about that... runaway Malakim. And according to him, Dwarves have lost a city, and are hudding in the capital. They won't lose, but they'll be set ages back (Think other dwarves?).

Bob, my password for my civ is rotiocanai.

Turn plans:

Radiata builds warriros till it grows, then it starts on a settler. The settler should go to the city site planned.
The work boat already in Radiata can build the Whaling Boats. I just got sailing.

Cerulean should just continue work boats till i have enough to make 2 coves / clams for my 4th city. If i'm still not back, start on a lighthouse.

Parch just continue the elder council.

Workers should plantation the cotton, then.... road to the new city i guess.

Also, if i'm still not back, expand OO to the Copper/Clams city using Clyde, a Zealot.

Thanks.

A rare powergraph picture:

Interesting drop from the elves. Just followed the instructions for this turn otherwise. I didn't have a directive for research, but last I saw you still wanted to beeline the Empyrean, so I'm heading for trade right now (Education is first up, 4t)

I got some forwarded emails from Darrell about a dogpile he's organizing vs. the Malakim and Luchiurp. Unless you specify otherwise, I'm just going to ignore him and follow your directives, maybe send him a brief email courteously notifying him that I'm just playing on a temporary basis and am not calling any shots.

I don't think that it benefits you at all to be involved, anyway. Honestly attacking the Calabim probably makes the most sense, but it looks like you want an NAP with them. This kind of "gang-bang the leader" crap really works out poorly for you anyway, since you're the clear #2.

From a lurker's perspective, thanks for stepping up, Bob! The show must go on! smile

Best of luck to you Amelia in recovering from the lightning; it's got to be nasty replacing all your electronics and electric gear. Hope it doesn't turn out to be too much of a headache.

Hey Amelia, if you read this-

Last turn the Great Scientist was born. I'm going to build an academy in the capital unless you specify otherwise- I know you were debating other sites, but the capital gets significantly more beakers a turn, even with your 2nd city working all of its best commerce tiles.

Yeah sure, go ahead.

About the dogpile, i have it as well and i'm looking at it. But i think we better skip on it, because well, we're weak early.

Yeah, dogpile doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Also we'd be the ones in the firing line since we're closest to Ilios- his borders are barely visible to the north. I built a scout last turn, I'm going to send it up to try and find more coastal sites and map his borders. Probably should send one south as well- land is crap down there, but would be nice to know what kind of dungeons and how many nodes are about.
