Couple of comments:
(1) Thanks for playing the turn again! I'm on my laptop (which doesn't have Civ) so I can't log in to check.
(2) Yes, that's unfortunate news about the wolf. But then again, it's a wolf, so the odds should be about 99% in our favor. Of course, this brings back memories of another pitboss game I played (intra-team Saturn pitboss game) where someone lost a 99.9% fight to a wolf, which was left with 0.1 health. Assuming we win, I suggest we settle in place, then start heading east, so perhaps go 9 and reevaluate there. It's all forest there, so that's good. As tempting as it is to go 7-8 instead, I really think we can't afford to lose a worker, so we must have the scout checking the tile(s) that could have wolves nearby and thus he must circle back (with turns to spare in case of healing). Note: there is at least one such tile, which is why the scout is needed. Once the worker is done, the scout needs to explore more land fast.
(3) I agree in that Team Orgynized (btw their login names are really interesting...) finished Hunting, since they did start with the other cheap technology of Fishing. What I'm a little confused about is why they didn't work a tile with 3 food/prod and one commerce, since they aren't expansive like us. If they had done that, wouldn't Hunting be finished a turn earlier?
EDIT: Silly me, they're probably working a 3 hammer tile to get a WORK BOAT out.

This explains the delay in Hunting. Their workboat will be finished next turn (Turn 8) so we should expect to see some changes in our MFG rank and food rank after that.
(4) Rivers! Finally! I was getting tired of seeing so many inland lakes, so it's nice to know that we have a potential commerce powerhouse to the northwest of our second city. The rice tile might be closer to another civilization's capital than ours, though....
(5) I find it interesting to note that I suggested in the first few posts that we'd have few posts, with lots of content in them, but due to our teamwork we are actually encroaching on first place in terms of post count.

(6) Keep an eye on our ranking in power. If we fall to 3 or 4 next turn, that's a sign that other teams are getting 6000 power as well, most likely if they did an early "The Wheel" research bid.
(7) I'll take a look at the micromanagement plan once I've gotten settled. For now, everything up to turn 15 is basically set, right? Turn 15 is when the worker finishes the camp on the deer, I think.
