[SPOILERS] Dhal gets ready to bungle another game (oh yeah some guy is dedlurking)

Plan for the next turn- I have named my workers for easy reference - the one chopping south of the capital is JC Denton, the one that just did the horse pasture is Paul Denton, the new one will be Gunther Hermann, and the fourth worker will be Anna Navarre.

Move Paul Denton 2N into the forest 1S of the spices
JC Denton chop finishes.

Next turn after that
Gunther pops out
Queue another worker (Anna)
Start forest chop 1S of spices with Paul
Move Gunther into that forest
Move JC 1SW to the river grassland and start a cottage.

I think interest is dying off in participation in this game. We keep going in spurts, and I am not entirely without blame.

Anyway, turn played, following the plan from the previous post. Pics tomorrow.

Turn 30

Mysticism comes in. Research set to Writing, due in 4T at 100% science, no need to turn science off yet.

New worker comes out, renamed to Gunther Hermann, fourth worker queued. As per plan above, workers moved to complete chops and begin a cottage.

General overview

Demographics

It's been a good week or so since I did my simming, so I'm going to have to revisit it and remind myself of the next moves.

Could you share the SIM save-stack or just one of the saves that is current with the game? It would help tremendously with planning.

Also, finally got the free time to watch Sullla's commentary - I quite liked it. The difference between 2 and 3 workers was an eye opener.

Sooo... neighbors?

So neighbours are TBS to the west and BaII to the southeast. Both are on two cities, same as us. We found our third city next turn (t36). Not sure about them, I'll check when i found it.

We met azza and dtay a couple of turns ago. Azza is also at 2 cities and completed Stonehenge. dtay is at three cities, but he is imperialistic, so you expect that from him. This is a toroidal map, so he's not going to be able to expand any further than us pre-CoL/Currency, he will just be able to do it quicker.

I don't have any long term plans yet. Next turn we will hit my 3 city/4 workers mark that my sims led to. Two workers are in place to begin farming the corn as soon as the city is planted. The capital has one river cottage that it will grow onto in two turns and our second city is size 4 working two river cottages. It will have to work a bare grassland tile once it reaches size 5, unless I whip something there. That city is currently growing with an Immortal. Might be worthwhile to get a library there. Not sure on all that.

There's not a lot to talk about, to be honest - there's only so much that can be discussed when it comes to worker moves - I'm not some kind of micro god that people can learn from, but I'll post picture summaries next turn when I plant the third city, and we can have a bit of a think about what comes next.

Nice Video by Sullla (I want critisism on my openings too!) smile I especially liked how forest whip were managed and how it all ended up working so nicely with 3 workers supporting 2 quickly growing cities.

Good luck with the game D&S!

Are turns moving enough for new pictures?

Yeah, things are moving - I've just been focusing my planning and full attention on PB13, so this game has become a bit of a casual side-thing - no simming or anything. Still having fun though. Up to five cities with a sixth about to be planted.
