Will some lurker please go kick the tyrannical muffin man and tell him to play his turn? I've been checking Civstats occasionally hoping to see an end-turn with a corresponding point-jump for Henge, but no luck yet. Let him know that we've already thrown tea into the harbor, so throwing muffins in next is only the next logical step.

YUUUUUUGE turn.
Good work making the forest-dwelling folk pay for it too.

Turn 051
New turn came quick so I played that one too. With Stonehenge done the next goal is how to get city #4 up and running the fastest:
The plan is to whip the settler the turn it finishes and then use that overflow to 1-turn a granary. (This is faster than just completing the settler, and then starting + whipping the granary.) Then we'll take the cow from Clinton and grow the capital to size 4 or 5 while building archers / scouting units in general. The new city will then have 9 turns to build a work boat and a granary until borders pop and we race to hook up the copper.
I also whipped a granary in Clinton this turn, my first whip of the game. I had been debating between whipping and not whipping, and I think finding that the city was unhealthy without the forests made the decision to whip easier. We'll finish the work boat and then start on worker #4. Right now workers and settlers and units are about all I want, but I'm trying to get granaries in where it makes sense to do so.

I forgot one of the coolest things about getting Stonehenge. Behold the centered map:

So... thoughts on how to use the prophet? Bulb theology, take Christianity, build the AP and go all-in on monk eco? Or could go for Judaism and shrine it, but that seems like a questionable use of beakers with Henge and other needs.

I was just dwelling on that one a bit. I like using it for a shrine in theory but when do we ever plan on going down the religion line? There are at least 2 civs with a head start on us and GNP is probably the weakest production type this empire holds. Also keep in mind a great prophet is 50 turns from now, so in a normal game we're looking at the time when everybody's at 10-13 cities and has just gotten Currency/Code of Laws. In this game? Probably a little slower than that.
I may end up settling him, or bulbing a religion. Bulbing Theology though ... that would mean we need to research Meditation, Polytheism, Masonry, Monotheism, and Priesthood.

Golden age is also possible. I intially discarded the idea because it'll be a little early for that and the map is crappy, but on the other hand PRO/IMP should allow you to be ahead of the expansion curve, so you could potentially get pretty good value out of it if you're big enough by then. The GA could be useful for some well-timed for some civic swaps, and/or you could use it to churn out a quick Caste merchant for a trade mission and a deep tech beeline.
I'm not sure you'll be big enough for it to be useful by then due to barren map + barbs slowing things down, but say you land the prophet and wait another 15 turns - that boost may still outweigh your other options. Depends on how much pop you think you can get to in the next 50-70 turns.
