I don't see a problem with this, though I'd be concerned that CMF's stated oddball playing windows might not resolve the turn time situation. 

Archduke, what's your status with this game?  You've had the turn for over 48 hours now.

At the moment, my process would consist of getting the notification of the turn, heading to the PC bang that night, and loading up everything to play. I won't be able to go every night (sometimes a guy has plans, y'know?), and I won't be able to play out of the strict 5 - midnight window Seoul standard time (GMT+9), no early morning turns or anything like that. So turn pace would be about the same, I imagine.

Not looking terrible forward to one of the few players with a good turnpace dropping out as well.

I lost my lurker interest as well and as the CIV VI community here continues to shrink and remain toxic, I think I will bow out.

Thanks Chevalier for filling up my empty spot, I just played turn 99 which is going be my last turn.
I shall post at PYDT forum to have Chevalier replace me.

If I step in for Alhambram, is there someone who will fill in for Archduke? I'd hate to see the game abandoned, I'm still interested in it and it sounds like most of the players are, as well.

Yeah, I agree with the sentiments of most people: lack of reporting doesn't indicate lack of interest.

I can try to step in for Archduke if necessary. I've been dedlurking him, so no problem there, but I am also totally unfamiliar with PYDT and whatnot.
