We have broken through in the N, the question is if this is a trap or an oversight on their part.
The biggest danger is them breaking through in the middle to cut off our N fleet.
They also can try to cut off the pillaging force TAD deployed to the N.

This picture shows quite well why we cannot live with Akkad in their hands, Woden can use 2 shipst (here supported by 3 for support bonus and swapping, to completely cut of the N and S fleets.
Woden's ability to use Ocean tiles is their biggest advantage here as they can come from unexpected directions and can drastically increase their attacking surface in contrast to us.

You were right that the war was not over, TAD managed to break through in the North bringing a raiding campaign to Llubljanas capital. His expedition force is likely doomed, especially considering that TAD looses 5 CS in 10 turns.

The bad news, we are still a bit behind.

The good news, I finally have a heroic age, thus boosting science and culture somewhat.

   

   

Two more harbours finish next turn.

We have DoFs with everybody so we need to build, build and build the next 20 turns and then prepare some frigates.

I need to maximize profits asap, I think I will actually buy a lighthouse next turn in one of the low production cities.

My biggest issue is the low amount of cities I have as we have handed all CS conquest to TAD for Crusade safety.



I am working on remedying this by getting at least 4 settlers out (1 is already in its way to claim S island, another will follow and 2 will go claim thrawns N island suggestion), I might go for a 5th one from Miln but it is competing with the Harbour district



Suboptimal does not lose time, he has Jongs for 2 turns now and already conquered a city and has another one on the edge of falling

I will very likely be first to Frigates (not Jongs :D) in about 8 turns, as Square rigging turned out to be the gate tech for the upper tree branch. CMF should be about 1 tech behins I estimate, so about 14 - 15 turns to Frigates to fight Suboptimal.



TAD and me are in Builder mode and look at the ongoing attack on CMF with interest, we have identified this area as our expansion territory, as it looks quite decent although the yields are a bit skewy for the cities. I especially like the 3 adjacent Horse city.
