Here is an overview of the empire as of turn 82 (825 BC):
A barb warrior attacked Celebi in the interturn at 7% odds and lost. This is probably the threat Kodii was worried about and wanted a reload for. The defender there is heavily damaged and there is another barb warrior on its way, due to attack in 3 turns. The defender should be healed up by then but in order to not tempt fate I sent the Quechua which was guarding Fetret Devri towards Celebi to defend.
More worrying is that there is a barb Axe 3N2W of DINA. We don't even have copper hooked up yet, the borders of Celebi just expanded this turn to include it in our territory. Athlete/Kalin have a Horse Archer 2E of DINA, I have asked them if they can help me with the barb Axe. If not I will have to whip the chariot in DINA next turn, which is unfortunate because I want to triple-whip a settler there and not single-whip a chariot.
We discovered Writing this turn and I set research to Code of Laws. I want to settle a lot more cities, but we need a way to keep our economy under control and our research going. We're organized so we get cheap courthouses, so Code of Laws seems to be the right choice.
I whipped a Terrace in Anatolia. This will help get the gold under our control ASAP, which will raise our happy cap as well as helping our research. With 3 workers near Celebi, I will have the Copper hooked up on turn 84. (We have 5 workers total currently).
Fetret Devri will finish a Chariot and grow to size 6 on turn 85. I plan to start a Settler and triple-whip it on turn 86. I'm planning on sending the settler on the tile 4S1W of Celebi, which is 1W of the green dot in Kodii's dotmap. I think it's easily a better site though- it gets rid of two peaks, and instead of sharing Celebi's only food resource (cows), it will share Rice with a city that hasn't been founded yet and will also have clams for food.
After that, the next city I want to found is on the remains of Mortius's capital. Hopefully that will more or less define our border with Rome.
