I think having secure border to our west is very important in the current situation. Below is my draft message to them. I'm also sending the message to Whosit soon.
Quote:DMOC and Nakor,
It seems we're closer that I would've hoped for. We can see the Lake and also the Deer. and we've planned our city to be directly South (2) from the Lake that would collect the deer. We could both settle the positions we like most, but our border cities would be quite close to each other. Please let me know, if this would be alright to you.
Assuming our cities will be close to each other I suggest long NAP so that we can both establish the border cities. I'm alright with 75 turns.
Concerning diplomatic situation we've opened discussion with all the nations we've met. Rome does seem a bit agressive, but we've had good dialogue. Ottomans have been friendly, but they are quite far so we haven't had that much communication yet.
Best regards,
plako

I moved WB so that contact with Jowy was avoided.
Warrior far away continues towards home and founds yet another Copper. The amount of resources around probably indicates that there is also plenty of Iron around. Bad news for us.
I whipped Barracks on our 2nd city. We had to rename the cities. Korean names are too hard to write/remember . After Barracks I would put overflow to Granary and finish it with another chop.
Settler is on its way and we can found the city at turn 60. 6 turns is enough to finish 1 chop and Monument and start building Archer and another chop.
Capital started chariot that is ready in 3. Population will raise in 3 turns. Archery is also ready in 3 turns. So with the aid of chops we should get at least 2 Archers ready before turn 66.

Message from Athlete and Kalin. I think we should answer something.
Quote:Dear Broker/Plako of the Koreans,
The war with the Byzantines is going rather well, but we are still not quite done yet. We were able to take their second city Endor (formerly Paris) that was bordering our capital.
We have received from them a perplexing message in which they are asking us for concessions to get peace. They are also saying that they can make sure that we don't win either. We expect them to try to poison other people against us. We are open and ready to address any questions you may have.
We also want to apologize that because of this war, we seem to be running full 24-hour turns. The Byzantines completely ignored our many requests to split the turn in a reasonable way, and they appear to us to be running the clock on purpose.
We wish you best of luck in your endeavors and we seek friendly and mutually beneficial relations.
Kalin for Team A/K of the Ottomans
P.S.: There is a post in the email/IT where thread where sunrise mentioned agreeing on splitting the turn! Let's hope it happens

Well that sucks. If you get time annouce to everyone that Whosit is dishonerable and has broken a NAP.
Broker33 and plako of Korea,
Quote:The Galactic Empire has decided that Korea would look much better decked out in purple. We are sending a team of redecorators to P'yongyang to effect such a change. I do hope that you will oblige.
I do not expect you to believe me, but I want to let you know that the decision to break our NAP early was a very hard one. However, I believe that it would be against the interests of the Empire to allow Korea to grow stronger. So, despite the conditions under which the war has started, I would like to do my utmost best to conduct the war in as honorable a fashion as possible. I would like to negotiate a split of the game clock in so far as unit moves are concerned. Because it appears that I have moved first, I think that it would make the most sense for the Empire to move in the first half, and Korea to move in the second half. Whether or not Korea agrees, I intend to avoid abusing the game clock and the movement system.
I hope that you will not think too ill of me, but hope is all I can do. I am sorry that circumstances forced us into this confrontation.
Best regards,

I didn't remember seeing Spear there last time I logged in. So he probably double moved it using the 9h rule to steal worker. The rule seems to encourage for double moves instead of preventing them. Hilarious part is that now he starts to negotiate about turn orders. I've no time ot be logged in all the time to the game so we better accept that part.
We've nothing we could do help Pyongjang except hope that our warrior survives. Luckily he has some kind off odds, because there aren't Axe around.
I didn'tmake any moves yet so we've time to do them.

I'll try to find friends now that could help us out. I think we should suggest peace treaty after he has attacked Pyongjang and settle the crab-horse city right after that. After that general plan would be a real pain for Whosit as long as we can.
Here is a message I'll send to everyone we've met:
Quote:Newsflash: Whosit the Treacherous
This morning Whosit the Galaractic Emperor also known as the Scumbag of the Universe moved his troops over the border of peaceful Korea in extremely traitorous manner.
Non agression pact (NAP) wasn't hindrance when his spearmans moved at unnatural speed through the mountains to capture our worker.
What makes it even more disgusting is that just 4 days ago he sent us this:
"war between our peoples would be mutually destructive and I recognize the necessity to remain at peace."
The word of Whosit is worth nothing. I urge everyone to stand up and assist us all possible ways before Praetorians start to March through the streets of Seoul. Needless to say it should be in everyones intrest to slow down the progress of Galtaciti Emprire before it gets too strong.
You're free to spread this message to all the civilizations of this planet and as said we would appreciate any help you could give.

Message sent to Athlete/Kalin + Nakor/DMOC teams.
I'll also contact Jowy when I'm playing our turn and send above to him.
I'm not sure, if we want to raise hassle concerning the double move. It was by the ruleset I've agreed, but naturally not acting in good faith.

Draft message to Whosit. I'm not sure, if being this agressive does us any good. Instead we could try to be peaceful and seem like we would accept the losses calmly and try to get peace. I'd like to get this sent before I play our turn so please comment as soon as possible.
Quote:Dear Scumbag of the Galaxy,
Give our worker back and sign peace! You still have a chance to stop this maddness via retreating immediately.
Breaking NAP wasn't enough, but you bothered to send us this few days ago: "war between our peoples would be mutually destructive and I recognize the necessity to remain at peace." Your word seems to be worth nothing. I'll be drumming your treason around the galaxy. This won't be fast and pretty for you. I can give up the pursue of success in this game and devote my efforts on being pain in the arse for you. It shouldn't be hard to find supporters for this cause.
I accept the turn order although it seems to me your spear moved twice before I had a chance to see it coming. I also suggest that while it is other person's turn we won't log in to the game unless it is a really pressing matter that won't violate the double move rule.

Athlete+Kalin are willing to act as the negotiator so I'll postpone sending our message until we'll see, if they can negotiate peace between us.
Some elements from Broker that I'll probably add to the message:
You may also mention that to willifully and intentionally negotiate in bad faith and to break a NAP for an in game advantage while good for one game will poison your reputation for this game and all others any of these players are involved in. This was totally unprovoked
