No I just wouldn't play. But my point still stands, if you don't like something that is a major part of what makes a game a game then you should have a long hard think about whether it suits you to play that game.

Both No Tribal Villages and No Lairs are official game options in FFH. They are as valid as No Orthus or No Acheron or No Tech Trading. Personally, I like Lairs and Huts, but some people don't and that's a perfectly valid way to play the game. I dont find the One City Challenge option fun, but I wouldn't deny someone else's enjoyment in playing that way.

Anyway, back to the subject at hand. It seems as if a solution to the current map woes is not available in a multiplayer game. And it also seems that the players in this game are severely divided in map and game option preference. So I suggest that we simply dump this game and start a new game thread on the main civ forum so we can start with a clean slate and make sure everyone's on the same page.

Well Bob...I enjoyed my SP game with your map . The endless waves of Barbarian Warriors stunted my growth enough that the AI was competitive longer than usual.

Map would probably be good for an SP game/Adventure (smacking enter 40 or 50 times isn't too painful for an SP game....for a PBEM....wake me when you're done dear).
