What if we will try to use the small advantage that we have HBR from the hut, connect the horses somehow and try to check with few Horse Archers the "continent-expansion" of other players ?
I assume that we could chop 1-2 HA from our second city for this purpose in bring them to continent in ~10 turns, no ?

Which is the NAP status for the moment ?

Another thing ... please don't whip anymore our second city ... at least until we will not decide what to do in it.

We have a NAP with Kuro and thats it.

As for your war, how will that help us catch up? Diverting hammers to military is the last thing we need to do right now, we need to expand like crazy and try to farm up in size again.

Well ... it's simple : on initial island of everyone is place only for 3-4 cities so I assume that everybody settled their last cities on big continent ... and we know that there is a land-route to them ( Kuro's warrior just reached us ).

If we will raze a couple of this cities - quite possible because when I checked nobody connected copper yet - and capture several workers with our HA ... this will be a real blow.

Otherwise I don't belive that we could keep up peacefuly other players after the wierd start with monument on our capital and the Oracle-failure.

But ... this is just my opinion of course.

As you saw in the tech thread, I intend to fix the hut problem in this game with some DLL hackery. This involves removing Horseback Riding from your civ since that hut wasn't supposed to exist.

Did you have any beakers invested in HBR before popping it? If so I should be able to restore them.

The other question is whether you started building any stables or horse archers since you got the tech, but from what I can see, that also appears to be no.

Our scout reach the borders with Kuro ... see this in attached picture. Settler started in James Bond. Worker from big island moved to chop the forest starting next turn.
