Looks like we've got a Commerce / Happy city up North and a production city out East, but going religion-first means neither will be impressive for a while.

In other news, I tried loading up the sim you sent, but it crashed Civ, so noidea Maybe if you send the first turn I can try loadin that up and if that doesn't work then I know I have issues?

Also, 2nd turn of the day! Dungeon... it's been a while since I've played with lairs so I don't remember exactly but I think you need like lvl 3 or 4 unit to explore these. Results from these can be really bad so probably not happening any timesoon...

In the north my warrior found graveyard. That one the other hand can be explored right away, have to check how bad results are possible though so I don't risk losing the game... What do you think, should I pop it? I have to check but I believe it usually gives better than worse results.

I've noticed the land isn't very flat, a lot of hills. Which works perfectly for my units (not for golems unfortunately), but more importantly fast movers like horsemen won't be very fast here. Hopefully that helps me.

I found this for graveyard:

Rob graveyard: equal chance of:
.High gold
.Low gold
.Skeleton (hostile)
.Spectre (hostile)
.Tech

Skeleton even hostile is not dangerous. Spectre on the other hand could be bad...

AFAIR Specter could be game over if unlucky and it promotes to invisible unkillable uber unit (for the beginning of the game). Kill8ng specter with warriors (and no copper).
specter can enter your border and kill city I think....( better check but I definitively lost sp game to unlucky specter spawn)...

I made some calculations that I could get 3 warriors in cap in case of spectre so I went for it...

Doing a little more city planning later but city 2S of Rice seems pretty good with border pop (holy city will be 2nd city).

Well that crashes straight to desktop too. Hmmm. I guess I'll reinstall the mod and see if that makes a difference and then probably ping Q for some troubleshooting.

Calendar pop from the graveyard is dancing , and is that a second Gold out East? What's the scouting plan; looks like western can defog the river valley while eastern looks for food around the golds, or eastern defogs past Tears to the river while western heads off deeper?
