[SPOILERS] Catherine of China

That's a nice start. I concur NE.

Being next to forested hill tiles is going to be annoying if we are attacked.

Yeah, if we let someone park units there wink. It shouldn't happen after early game unless we're really screwed.

Well, unless we get dogpiled like a certain team form the last No Tech Trading PB... but I guess we would take that as a complement for being too good :F

It would be fun to run a farmer's gambit... or a hunter's gambit in our case once we scope out the neighbors.

Change of plans wink. After seeing that BW takes 17T to finish and we can get Worker in 10T I decided to start with a worker and Hunting. I've lately played at quick speed so adjusting to normal takes some time.

I think 'll move warrior to N next, but can be convinced to go SE also.

Map is Huge type.

This green color for China is incredibly confusing.

I vote for emoticons for city naming scheme. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_emoticons

Hopefully it will confuse your enemies more than yourselves. lol

lol I started with Lol. Emoticons could be used for units and I don't mind having several winks. I still haven't tested which special characters are alright though.

Wow, that is a lot of hill tile... I hope we have some food bonii. We seem to be on some sort of strait in a big lake(see water at bottom left). Is this a highlands map?

As for warrior moves, 1N? I really want to get a second warrior going 1 SW after the worker who we will probably name super serious for the purposes of increasing the relative silliness of our city names.

Hand crafted map that might contain some strange features like a peninsula that connects us together in the north. Not sure whether it is worth checking and would it be better to go south where there seems to be more land.

However the lake in the east probably means that it is better to go SE.

Lot of hills, some plains and not that many food resources visible. This might be a bit more food scarce map than the earlier Krill maps.

Some simple map analysis gives that every population point is worth 5000/2245 i.e. 2.22 points in score and every land point is worth 2000/2435 i.e. 0.82 points.

I couldn't log in to check victory screen, but roughly I suspect there is 2000-2500 land tiles.

I think the denominator 2435 in your land point calculation means there is exactly 2435 land tiles.
I have to run.
