That would be midnight my time, I'd prefer a little earlier, and couldn't stay up all that long. However, Mardoc might be able to cover the second half of the blitz. If he wakes up by the time I give up and go to bed we'd be fine.

Well, I managed that for the PBEM3 blitzes, I suppose I can manage it again when you're on my side
Although, 1300 GMT also is about when I'd like to be quitting; I've got a fairly nerdy excuse - I'm meeting a friend to cast our 3D game boards for Settlers of Catan. I can probably push that back a bit, but not by much.
I'm never sure - is Europe onto Daylight Savings Time as well, and does that affect GMT? I know the US has already moved forward, so I guess what I'm asking is whether my time zone (EDT) is 4 or 5 hours behind GMT at the moment. I know it was GMT-5 in mid-winter.

It's not going to be easy to find a good time to fit me and Irgy. I'm at GMT -3 and I can't promise I'll wake 8AM at a saturday to play :neenernee
But we can try. What are your prefered schedule, Irgy?

Well, assuming we're meaning GMT to be 'the time they're calling it in Britain right now', then I could stay around until 1330 on Saturday before I really should be out the door, that'd be 0830 my time. And I assume that Irgy would be fine starting as early as Ichabod's willing to wake.
Remember, Ichabod, you don't have to be dressed or showered or anything, and there's usually enough time in between turns that you can get your morning stuff done.
On a side note, the turn's been coming in early enough in the day that we might be able to relatively often get 2/day, since I can grab it while it's 0300 in Australia, and Irgy can grab it when it's 0300 here . So blitzes may not be required that often anyway for a good pace.

Mardoc: GMT never moves. The confusing thing is just that the time in the city of Greenwich is not actually GMT during European daylight savings. But that's their problem, it's good for the rest of us because it means you don't have to worry about when daylight savings comes in for Europe, just when it comes in for you. So if you were GMT-5 before you'll be GMT-4 now.
Speaking of daylight savings, ours finishes this weekend. So my timezone is different between Saturday and Sunday (from GMT+11 to GMT+10). Might as well just call it +10 though, since Sunday for me is still Saturday for most of you.
My preferred play times are a little unusual anyway. I'm quite happy to wake up at something like 6am or 7am for a blitz (so 2000 to 2100 GMT), as the kids usually manage to wake me up and when they don't I wake up anyway out of habit. My wife (as well as the kids most of the time) usually sleeps in and I then have the run of the house. That's the evening for most of you and the afternoon for Ichabod so it could be a reasonable option
I don't like a middle of the day blitz as we usually want to go do something on weekend days not sit around the house all day. Otherwise, I can do the evenings, but don't like to stay up much past 1am, because as I said I usually wake up at 6 or 7.
But it doesn't really matter all that much, Mardoc and I will now be 6 hours apart, which is completely out of phase in a way, so one of us should be available most of the time.

Oh!
I'd never play my turns before my toilette is fully done
I'm not sure if toilette is used as a word in the english language...
Well, the thing is that I was planning on doing something this friday night, since the past weeks have been heavily demanding with study/work. But I'll play my turns, even if I'm not in my best shape. Early turns are fairly uneventful, usually...

It is, sort of...it's one of them weirdo furrin' words, like batsman and schadenfreude that you'll still find in the dictionary and some people but not all will know what you mean. And of course it depends on which version of English you're referring to.
Back to the original subject, depending on what the Europeans think when they wake, maybe it would make more sense to go for when you get back from your event at 2130 GMT, and just let Irgy play our team's turns.

Actually, I'd prefer if we played it any time between 11 AM to 5:30 PM, rather then after 9:30 PM onwards (GMT). I'm sorry about making it difficult, but saturdays aren't the best days for me.
I have way more free time on sundays, though. This sunday is not possible for Sciz, but if we plan to do another one, I'd prefer sundays.
