I understand this. What I don't understand is why, after the hand was dealt, we have to re-deal it as some people don't like it?

I can see them thinking that 2 rounds of picks is balanced, hence the need to randomise the 3rd round.

My point was given that, then dont randomise the start order in game (this is sequential right?)

IMO you guys forfeited all right to complain about pick and turn order randomness when you started the picking process before deciding how exactly to do it. It would have been really easy and pretty fair to have the pick order be 123443211234 and turn order be 4321. But it's too late now!

The team didn't complain. Dave and plako had no objection as far as I know. I queried it because the decision made no sense to me. Mardoc explained it clearly and I can see why it was done. I agree with it, in fact.

Team Reddit made a quite surprising picks i.e. Khazad+Hippus. Early mounted rush seems to be name of the game for them maybe backed up with 2 move trebs. That is definately something to watch out.

Meant to say, I assume Khazad are there to fund the research of the others rather than for military purposes
