![]() In the West we reached an agreement with our Byzantine neighbor. The borders are now open and we may found a city on the X. In the East we need to grab land more quickly. Our Funshine city is the last without a Granary. Its growth is suspended because a Great Person is being raised there.

hi there is Bisons, i'm here to make a litle speach of the start of this game. ( of course i only TRY to speak english xD )
since the start, yuufo was the only one to post here and i'm realy sad of this, the principal reason is my poor english. He his the most skilled of ours, so he make a lot of decison, and i don't really help him in his task. so i will try to help him here ^^ [ people who read the french post on our forum dont need to read this i think ^^ ) at the start, we have only one strategic line : use our IMP leader to win territoty again our neighbour we use it. i think for the more west of ours city, i propose, as our french friend, to make it one title west than yuufo want. that was agressive pose, but i think it may bee accept by Eggheads team because whe have good feeling with us. a few turn later, we make a pact with them to turn 100 and this town survive ! at the East, there are probably not the same. Asterix, place his north town. At our eyes, this was a very, very , VERY agressive town, and a mistake, because she is not conenct to his empire ( realy to fast town who was probably expensive ) . at many time he attempt to obtain something we cant give to him , and result ? i don't like him ^^ he will be a perfect snack later the principal event of ours start was probably the oracle and the will of yuufo to have smithy ( forge ? ) i really agree this strategic of production. with our IMP, we have fast town who can product more of ours neighbour. then yuufo prefer to place all the possible town before moving. so wait and see =)

The Northwestern province will soon welcome a new city on the coast, Wish. In the Southwest we'll soon be able to dispatch a Settler to found Share too. An English Chariot met us nearby and we made friends of the English. Harmony was founded in the Southeast. We could use our IMP trait to grab land quicker than M&M did. Now we have a long NAP agreement. Two new cities were added near the capital in the Northwest. This was made possible by the discovery of Animal Husbandry. The next research projects are Masonry and Monotheism. We don't want to found a new religion but to switch to Organized Religion.

City #11 was created a few turns earlier. The Granary is always the first building and since it costs 60 hammers, a good rule of thumb to build it quickly is to build 10 hammers, chop 20 and slave 30. Wish will allow us to send scouting Work Boats along the northern coast. I enclose city status advisor screenshot for a quick summary of what's going on in our empire. The next big event will be our first Great Person in three turns. I saw the first GP ever, a Scientist, was just born. Our neighbors focus on research whileas we prefer to rely on quick expansion.

The first Great People are coming! After two foreign scientists were born, the Care Bears welcome their first Great Engineer. The odds were 46%, compared to 54% for a Prophet. We use him to rushbuild the Pyramids in Funshine. This way all wonders are at the same place.
In the most recent turns we put a slight focus on military. Having built a couple spears/axes we are already at the top of the soldiers league.

Soon after we researched Monotheism a new religion was founded in Grumpy : Taoism. It was not intended like that but no other civ seemed to care about this religion. Since Confucianism, our official religion, struggles a lot to expand itself (only 2 cities in 2000 years!) we hoped that Taoism wouldn't spread too far. But on first turn after foundation it had already contaminated all three northwestern cities.
Meanwhile our empire descended into Anarchy while we switched Civics to Police State and Organized Religion. Police State takes advantage of the Pyramids, normally it can only be adopted after researching Fascism. Together with the +25% production from the Forges it will help us build a powerful military with few hammers. We don't really need more happiness and our use of Specialists is minimal (they should generate Great People early on, not GNP). And there are no evolved cottages to take advantage of Universal Suffrage. So Police State seems the best choice for now. It should also be a good deterrent against foreign aggression. In the South only Funshine is training troops at the moment. We hinted from our diplomatic contacts that there should be some kind of coalition coming up against us, but we had timely extended our NAP with the eastern neighbour M&M and this NAP extension kind of discouraged other teams to unite against us. So we also made long NAPs with EggHeads on the West and the newly-encountered and far away Eagles & Condors. The main current threat is Rome on Southwest and its power is rising but they didn't invest espionage points in us and we have a scouting Spearman to tell us in advance about an aggression from this side. Our border city is Funshine with two wonders but I don't think Rome knows about that. Besides its cultural wall will make it quite easy to defend, should the Praetorians come nearby. There was some kind of settling race with M&M in the Southeast since we have no border agreement. But it ended well and we could found Secret on Furs as wished. In our heartland, we just slaved two Forges using the Organized Religion bonus. Tenderheart and Love-A-Lot should then send missionaries across our lands and later to our neighbors. We research Writing and then stop for a while, until several Libraries are up.
