Why aren't you more outraged to find out you're still getting cheated out of 0.11 worker turns per road ??!? Those add up you know! rant

Rare Update ...

I spent a little too much time building wonders. Made myself a little bit of a target and didn't put the hammers into units.
Commodore came knocking and forced me to desert several cities (including my capital that was chock full of commerce wonders)
Hashoosh also chimed in by taking a few smaller cities from me
As did Kuro (America) by razing a coastal city and then doing nothing else
City count reduced to about 5 or 6
Hammer rich city had Heroic Epic (1 turn elephant, knight or musket)
Commodore pushed into my land, ripping up roads, laying waste to farms ... but came slowly enough to give me time to destroy most of his units
Then one of my wonders stepped in ... Apostolic Palace ... and I stopped the war with Ruff
That gave me time to build catapults
And reclaim my capital (and wonders)
Commodore had let off a Great Artist bomb ... but I still controlled multiple tiles adjacent to the city
I seek to regain capital via AP - Commodore defies
WAR! Cats take down some defence, then some units, then elephants and knights retake the city (out of revolt in 4 turns)
Commodore sends units to reclaim (including 15-20 cats)
I kill all of them (I have never seen a knight kill a cat and then kill 5 other cats via flanking)
city comes out of revolt and borders spring back to 4-5 tiles worth of land
Commodore sues for peace
I gain an American city via AP

Will I win? No.
Am I having fun? You bet.

Oh - meant to say that the Elephant UU that I have is awesome! I lost my ivory for a while so had to be careful with them / have it back now smile

... ... but a Combat II, Formation elephant that targets mounted units in open field stacks can really do some major damage.
