I've been simulating for making a 2nd boat after the 1st one, so we can explore the south. I doubt now the convenience of making a 2nd scout (if animals don't kill the 1st one)
There are these 3 possibilities:
1. boat-worker-scoutT22-warriorT26-settlerT31-boatT34 (whip 2pop for settler)
2. boat-worker--warriorT22-(boat)-settlerT31-boatT32 (whip 2pop for settler)
3. boat-worker--boatT26-settlerT31-warriorT32 (whip 2pop for settler)
In option2 the boat in parenthesis is under construction, and when pop is 4 we change for the settler.
In option3 we have the boat 6 turns before, but we retard the warrior and the settler can lose 2 turns to set the new city, because it goes at warriors speed.
Either way, option 1 or 2 in that order for me.
