Picture Update:

A warrior from the Principality of DIM (HRE) have arrived near Scooterville. I have not yet checked the inbox for a greeting message, but if there isn't one yet I'm sure one will come soon. DIM are currently part of the Hydra and based on DJ's own telling, they are also part of the mini-alliance that's being built up by DJ within the Hydra. As far as we know, DIM are supposed to be located either west or south of Cath Bruig.

Oh wow. I go to bed, and I get up and boom, you racked up 13 straight posts! And I thought I was spamming the last day or two! I like that message to India, I think that's the best way to handle that. Though I'm sure all happy feelings with them will erode quite quickly when we declare on them and help raze their city . I am on board with that plan though - I think it benefits us in a lot of ways like you said.

I understand about your not committing to the attack portion of the plan yet. I am just attempting to facilitate your meeting with Byzantium and Maya, which you mentioned was one of your priorities, as a bonus part of the plan.

Do you have a firmer estimate yet on when Iron Working will be completed? Alphabet will be ready at the latest on Turn 71 and I still think I may knock 1-2 more turns off that once I get my second library built.

I now have approval to go through with Operation Tuesday 65. Is the Mayan and Byz participation confirmed at this point?

ETA on Iron Working is currently turn 72, but I expect to have it ready by turn 71 by virtue of our cities growing into more cottages during the next few turns. From there on I guess we start building up a cash supply for Currency while you and the rest of the anti-Hydra supplies us with techs?

We have met all the nations you mentioned, except for Sumeria. We come from your far far southwest. We have met Ottomans, who are to our west and are scouting in other directions.


Our unit will be heading towards Sumeria. Should we move to the north of your lands, or can we get there from your south as well?

Reaching Sumeria by passing to the south of SsS is indeed possible. The northern route is likely to get you there faster, but only slightly so.

I'm not very fond of having a DIM-unit hugging our southern border with the Spraetorian rush coming up and us having to chop some forests over there, but it isn't really avoidable without lying to them or outright threatening them. Or maybe we should threaten them to get them to keep the distance? Or just kill the unit with a saxeman? It's not like the diplo hit will matter with us planning to go to war with two Hydra members anyway.
