Heh we did okay. We're really not that far behind considering we lost 3 cities and 2 armies early on. lol

But yeah its about to get ridiculous.

Hrm; depends, really...we might could have taken advantage a little better early on, but then again, maybe not. The thing is, SMack are running away (naturally, no surprise) and only a dogpile, or at least "threat on every border" could have contained them at this point, but not only are the H-Team out of reach of them, they're squeezed by us and RMOG and can only expand by fighting one or both of us.

Hard to tell for sure, but just generally its nice for everyone to border everyone in a 4-sided FFA.

Well we took rocky:

We lost a cat and 3 knights doing it. So pretty good rolls! Also the city has a granary and a forge!

At the end of turn we popped a great spy at 3% odds though... Can we steal techs?

Good news though, with capture gold and 90% tech next turn and likely 1 wealth build we can get Astro next turn!

So overall a good turn. The Gspy... maybe we just go poking around Smack for a bit. Other thoughts?

Is it worth burning a GSpy on them just to ensure sight on their cities for the rest of the game (before we concede)?

Nah, maybe GA for Joao? Swap caste/paci/merch and get more, Nationhood by the end?

Well August is pretty clear. I'm teaching morning classes on Tuesday and Wednesday, but nothing else until the regular term starts in September. Other than that I'm just hanging out with my daughter. For now I'm fine with playing out the string. Maybe do a bit more damage to 4H. Make them think twice about razing one of our cities early in the game.

I want to settle two coastal cities pump out some galleons and start harassing them on their other sea.

Astro in, Galleons going. Observatories when the round of military finishes I think.

I'm feeling safe-ish. I think we can hold off any smack attack at this point until they get to rifles. In like what less than ten turns? lol They'll likely grab the Econ GM, then maybe go for rifles and cav! That's what Seven did against Nakor in PBEM6.
