Looks like NotGav took Memphis back. Hopefully he stopped being lucky with the rng rolls!

Memphis was empty. Alexandria had the 1 LB and thats it. ASyut had Xbow, 2 Axe, 1 WC and the injured HA. No sign of the big stack.

I took memphis. I took ASyut no losses. Alexandria we took with one knight winning at 27% odds.

I haven't moved anything else but sentries.

I have to eat dinner.

Gotta play the rest of this after dinner.

I thought the idea is him retreating everything to Byblos was stuff of wild fantasy - but that seems to be what happened!

Thoughts:

-We can kill one of the swords with a CKN and kill the HA with a knight that can retreat.
-1 spear to Alexandria (2?)
-Leave a couple anti-chariot units in asyut
-Leave a spear to protect our wounded knights
-Leave our big stack in Memphis? We will be able to move it to contain his big stack and if need be we can leave Memphis undefended and head back to our hill.
-Need to retreat our knights in Byblos back home to protect our baby city from that Xbow.

I was thinking slow movers can go in Memphis or east of Memphis. It would be nice to pillage those roads west of the city but I'm fine with just leaving NotGav be if doesn't venture out. Memphis is nice and centrally located to be able to shift up to Thebes.

How able are we to get some knights in boats to head to that island?

I'll start making some of those moves and see what we can do about the boats. Byblos might take some time to crack. If we can contain it would be better while we heal up and make better preparations. We might need to slow move a big stack in to Byblos while still protecting Memphis.

I'm thinking we hold ground with slow movers while we mop up the island cities. If Plako wants to take a Crack at Byblos in that time he can be my guest. Then after the easy cities are all conquered we combine everything and finish him off.
