I think timings work quite alright with 2 warriors i.e. building settler next. On T36 their 2nd warrior is in the gates of our capital assuming straight beeline there. On that turn we can start Axe and whip it turn after that. This all assumes we can plant and improve 2nd city peacefully.

Isn't there some kind of micro trick that lets us have a warrior in the queue that auto-upgrades to an axe, so we can whip it on the same turn that copper is connected? (Or the turn before, even?)
If you know what I mean.

Ok... just to complete this line of thought: do we get good enough odds with a spear?
Don't want to end up one turn too late and get our improvements pillaged.

we need hunting for spear and losing pigs is not that big of a deal. We're whipping that tile away and AH is coming soonish.
Spears require Hunting.

Right, I just noted we had a scout and figured we must also have hunting.
So is the plan to move both warriors to the pig S of the capital? Or fortify one in the capital? Or place them S and SE of the capital, to deny vision? Edit: Trying to deny vision is probably a pointless goal in itself, since they have another warrior coming, too.
If you know what I mean.
